Since the loss of power have you had another diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? And to check soot levels within the dpf.

All the time buddy. I think it highlights the selfishness and self-centred behaviour of most of society these days.

Was new battery coded to the car? If not then this could affect electrical items working/fault codes. Full service required and gearbox oil service. The water that's built up, has it made its way into the cabin? Wet carpet could indicate a damaged CCM.

Service history, is it full. Proof of cambelt and water pump change, gearbox oil change and quattro system. Tyres, are they even tread and same brand on the axle as uneven wear can damage the quattro system. Check buyers guides on YouTube. Make sure all electrical items work.

Yep they'll fully shut. Audi do them but heko are popular. Wind noise might be increased slightly. I've never had a problem with heko ones.

Definitely try ebay. All my previous ones have come from there. Both the solid type and water proof plastic type. I use a normal dog cage but I then cover the sides and rear with a blanket. I then use the calming spray you can buy on the dog bedding and boot panels.

Could be an issue with the maf sensor, injector or lambda sensor

Is it inside the vehicle? Loose dash top trim is well documented

It's worrying there's no air filter. That needs sorting asap. Get the fault codes sorted too. What's the oil consumption like? And any smoke out of the exhaust and if so what colour? When was the car last serviced? Including fuel filter. Are these any boost leaks I wonder? 16mpg would be worse than a S3!

They help keep the car cool in summer as it allows you to leave the window open slightly regardless of it's sunny or raining. If you're a smoker then it reduces the risk of you getting wet when you get rid of the ash from the cigarette.

Any fuel will be fine. But they do say that supermarket fuel isn't as good.
