  1. Glad you're pleased with your sq5 they're lovely cars. Is yours the one in the pic? Is it a black edition?
  2. It'll be the A3 8y section. This thread should help too: Issues with mmi black screens are well documented
  3. Shame the cross climate 2 aren't recommend as they're supposed to be the best. Why are they not recommended? I think the other options are Nokian Remedy WRG5 Continental Allseasoncontact 2 Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 But is it worth you just having a set of winter wheels with tyres as having a tyre that is designed to work in all conditions means it has to make compromises so won't provide the ultimate performance possible when compared with a tyre designed to work as a summer or winter tyre. We are a friendly and helpful bunch, sorry you feel we haven't been. Gareth offered advice on your tyre thread, as have I. You could try fitting a $12 aftermarket one the only issue could be with the quality. There have been cases where the dipstick has come away from the handle and dropped down. Is the one Audi wanting to sell you the same part number who've mentioned? I believe the ones for the other 3.0tdi should fit. Make sure it's for a gen 3 engine of the 3.0tdi. Gen 1 was found in the A6 C6 or similar. Gen 2 fitted to A6 c7 or similar. So gen 3 Is post 2018 I think. So if you're after a cheaper option than the dealer then might be worth looking for second hand ones on eBay from 2018 onwards 3.0tdi This link to this thread might help: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q5-sq5-mkii-discussion-218/finally-sq5-dipstick-2999441/

  9. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  10. You're most welcome 72mpg! That's impressive. Glad you got a resolution with the a4. Please feel free to stay on the forum for advice for your a3
  11. Definitely check buyers guides on YouTube
  12. Keep us posted on how you get on
  13. Thanks Mark. I guess the only way we'd know the engine code is via the sticker in the boot. It must be an import
  14. Glad you're pleased with the A3 sounds a nice car with good spec.

  16. No probs. Audi's and other vag cars of the 90s/naughties suffered from this as foam was put inside the wheel arches and this would trap moisture causing the rigs to rot from inside out
  17. Yep can be done by yourself 🙂 have a look on YouTube on MMI reset, you'll need to put in your specific type of radio for it such as concert, symphony etc.
  18. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. You could look at revo or Celtic tuning. Depending on power don't forget to get the gearbox remapped too.
  19. Might be worth you using a vin decoder online to see the spec and origin of it.
  20. One way to test if it's the key or the car is trying a spare key if you have one.
  21. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Hopefully it's just a problem with an SD card/disc. Worse case scenario it's a problem with the unit. Have you tried a reset of the unit?
