Front lower track control arm
It sounds like you e been sent the wrong part. The correct one for yours is the 16mm whereas the new ones which are incorrect are designed for the rs6 and s6 I believe. Might be worth you sending them back and getting them to send out the correct part.

Vehicle Time Display
As it's a 69 plate, I'd advise getting Audi to have a look as it's under warranty. It shouldn't go back to 00:00 after you've set it.

HELP NEEDED AUDI A6 4.2 QUATTRO 2001
I'd definitely be changing the belt and water pump as you have no history. Ironically I've got the same unlocking issue with my a6 but not got it sorted yet. I'm thinking it could be the driver's door mechanism.

Car Mat at Question
B9 is the current model code. The code is assigned to the chassis. Any b9 mats should fit as long as you get the correct one for your gearbox. Ie manual mats might not fit automatics footwells and visa versa

Under engine cover/tray
Hi Rob, I'd try eBay or Audi. I know what it's like to try and source them. I'm.still trying to source a genuine Audi gearbox one for my a6.

New Car
It can be done but as you've pointed out it's very costly. It'll all have to be coded to the car too

Advice on a few problems A4 Avant 2008 1.8TFSI
Might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up? Or get an auto electrician to take a look

low oil pressure light
I don't think you'll know unless you dismantle the engine. It might just have damaged the chain. It sounds like you're handy, so it might be worth carrying on.with your initial plan.

Is an aftermarket sub install possible?
I believe it can, but I'd get an auto electrician to do it.
