Any other guesses?

Bizarrely it was my front passenger side that had to be replaced. Too many passengers slamming the door!
No I didn't go to the main dealer. My local garage carried out the work. I have a feeling it was around £300. When I've managed to dig out the service history folder I'll let you know exactly :)

Yep, I did see that on our conversation :) you beat me to it as I had intended to do it lol :)
Don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. I do hope members get involved :)

I've found this website which lists all the Audi wheels which are 5x112 fitment. This maybe useful for anyone needing to know the exact name of the wheel on your Audi or measurements etc.
I hope it's useful :)

Hi Anwar, sorry to hear your wheels were stolen and sorry that no one on hear has responded to you.
Did you get sorted in the end?
One option you have is buy another set of Audi wheels to put on your car.
You'll probably find this is better than aftermarket wheels as the quality of Audi wheels should be better.

I've done further research. I think they are known either as speedline wheels or a4 polished wheels.
Abit random but I've found this website that has the full details of the wheel.

I'll keep an eye out for the wheel centres.

Hmm, I'm assuming you've tried eBay, Gumtree etc. My other suggestion would be to see if Audi still stock them. You'd be surprised, as wheel centres are easily lost :)
I think what would help us (as in you and me) if we knew what the correct name for these wheels are. If we knew that then it would help us find new center caps. If you see what I mean.

Glad I got mine when I did then.

You both will be driving something which is slightly more exclusive :)

This is a great thread Trevor! :) It'll be interesting to see what suggestions members can come up with :)

Welcome to the forum Jon, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)
However I myself am not sure on what the fault could be as I'm not clued up on the air suspension. Sorry.
I have heard of the compressors failing if that helps.

Welcome to the forum Dan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)
My first advice would be to get an ecu remap. This will give you more power and may increase your mpg :) just make sure the car is in good condition before you have the remap done as it could cause damage to the engine if not.

Yep, the facias are easy to buy :)
Hmm I do wonder if the doors are sagging. I had to have both door hinges replaced. Ill have to go through the service history to find out how much I paid to have e this done. Just out of curiosity is it the front drivers door or front passenger door which is mainly at fault?
I have to say in the defense of the door rubbers, I have found them quite robust and have never changed mine.

Welcome to the forum Alan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)
My advice would be to ring around all your local Audi dealers to see which one is the cheapest. Different franchises do different offers on servicing, brake replacement and cambelt/water pump changes etc.
In failing that, you can take it to any garage as long as it VAT registered and they use genuine Audi parts. The invoices will prove it has been serviced if that makes sense and Audi cannot refuse this as long as the two mentioned criteria are met.
Hope I've helped

Collected car today, 105 miles without incident! Two initial observations, 1 the concert stereo display and dash display a slightly pixilated (some parts missing) will need to sort that as that type of thing bugs me. Secondly at speed there is a air whistle from drivers doors which I put down to possible door rubbers becoming brittle?
Other than that chuffed to bits, feels very tight brakes good gearbox smooth (should be as it was changed for a brand new one at 80k)
Glad your pleased Chris :) your a4 looks in great condition :)
I think you'll have to replace to radio to get rid of the pixlation. If you do replace it with another Audi radio then you'll need the radio code.
The whistle could be the door rubbers as you've pointed out. However when I had a similar issue on my a6 it was due to the door hinges failing and causing the door to drop. I'm assuming the door closes smoothly?
Cheers
