  1. Trevor is your man to contact with regard to membership as he manages it ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. I think Bentleys do a hardback book but I could be mistaken. Your best bet is looking at USA eBay for one but they are hard to come by. Cheers Steve
  3. Hi Del, My key question is the exhaust stock or aftermarket stainless steel one? If it's stock then it's probably one of the rubber mounts is worn and requires replacing. Cheers Steve
  4. You're welcome ๐Ÿ™‚
  5. Sorry to hear you've had the same issue Carl, but I'm.glad that the this forum helped in getting the tyres sorted ๐Ÿ™‚ its certainly worth other a7 owners showing the Audi dealers the forum as evidence. cheers Steve
  6. I hope it's not too. When my sisters golf turbo was replaced it cost ยฃ900 to replace. Cheers Steve
  7. I think you'll need spacers in my opinion. You can't go wrong with black or gunmetal grey wheels. The only problem is, if you curb them it's more noticeable. Cheers Steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Paul, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ great a6 you have there! Not that I'm being biased in anyway lol. cheers Steve
  9. Welcome to the forum Mark, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
  10. Apologies Paul, I got the wrong end of the stick. In that case I'd say no a full size spare won't fit. It's very unlikely to find a car that will fit a full sized spare in tthe wheel well Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Paul, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ yes I believe you can get a space saver spare wheel of which I believe the size is T125/70/R19 and the tyre is usually Hankook. The a4 space saver is the same as fitted to the a5. i suspect that in the spare wheel well there will be a foam tray with the tyre inflation kit. It should be a case of removing the foam tray and fitting the wheel. If you look on eBay you'll find various a4 b9 space saver spare wheels for sale at various prices. cheers Steve
  12. Sorry to hear of your turbo failure. My dad had exactly the same issue on his a3 8v with the same engine. I'd be checking eBay personally. In failing that you could get a reconditioned unit. The main advice I would give you is try and get genuine Audi if possible, either new, used or reconditioned. As some of the aftermarket turbos have known to fail outside of their 1 year warranties. Cheers Steve
  13. I think there could be a chance. It certainly was the case on mine. And just like in your case it happened at lower speeds where there's naturally more strain on the power steering system. If it's not the pulley then it could be the pump. But I'd definitely look at the pulley first. Cheers Steve
  14. It might be worth you getting the turbo checked. When my sister had a similar issue on her golf it transpired that sone if the blades within the turbo had broken and as such the fan within the turbo wasn't always spinning which was causing the lag/hesitation. In order to resolve the issue she had to have a new turbo fitted. Cheers Steve

You're welcome, glad I could help ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
  16. I appreciate my a6 is a lot older but when I had a similar issue it turned out to be the power steering pulley. Cheers Steve
  17. You're welcome
  18. Well there were some early Audi's at Audi's in the park last year. I believe there were 4 cars from the late 60-70s including 80s abd 100s. There were even older vehicles there which predated Audi as we currently know it (late 1960s onwards) abd these cars were from the 50s I believe. Cheers Steve
  19. You're welcome :) i to hope that resolves the issue, please keep us posted on how you get on. cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Anthony, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ Did you know it had the fault when you bought it? If not then I'd argue it's been missold. Is there any whining from the steering? whats the fluid level, is it low ect? cheers Steve
  21. Thanks for that Steve ๐Ÿ™‚ ill pin this post and feature it so it makes it easier to find ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks again ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
