  6. Great sound system! Very expensive extra too!!
  7. Sorry for the delayed reply. At least it starts :) Keep us posted on how you get on, but sounds like you've got a good winter project :) power steering wise, is it making any whining noises? Or no noise at all? It could be the pump that's gone. Cheers Steve
  8. You're welcome, glad I could help :)
  9. Hi John I don't believe the a6 has a light on the dash to tell you the cruise control is on. My a6 has been owned by my family from new and I know it's never had a light on to tell you it's activated. Thinking about it, it is odd that Audi didn't fit this, however maybe they assumed that people would know cruise was on anyway. Hope I'v helped :) Cheers Steve
  10. Hi Dean welcome to the forum :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You're right it should go straight on. I also believe the a3 flat bottom steering wheel fits too. I think you may need the airbag coding to the car once the steering wheel is fitted :) In find it odd that it's not come with it already to be honest. What did the dealer say about it? Cheers Steve
  11. Hi Sean, you can upgrade to the ice blue style ones (xenon style) these should improve visibility. If it were me I'd buy ones from somewhere like halfords where you know they are road legal. Hope I'v helped :) Cheers Steve
  12. Hmm, what does your hand book say? I'd like to think it's just a sensor to be honest. I say this because you've not experienced any over heating.
  13. Welcome to the forum Lee you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I don't think the B8 version (mk1) q5 ever had this option. I would suspect there are aftermarket kits available but you'd have to modify the lights obviously. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  14. Welcome to the forum Vivian you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Have you had a diagnostic check carried out on the car at all? If not, then it would be recommend. I'm wondering if the car is having trouble starting when the engine is warm. Are all the dials showing any issues? Ie temp? Sorry I can't help more Cheers Steve
  15. You are referring to yours as a pre facelift I believe to make the new lights fit, you'll need to change the lights, bumper, bonnet and potentially the wings I believe.
  16. Hi Alan, I'm not sure if they will fit but I have a couple of wheel charts that may help. Here's the link: Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  17. Welcome to the forum Kristian you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Cheers Steve
  18. Hi John I think you're right. I always take it AC motors in Syston. They are very reasonable for changing bulbs :)
  19. Merry Christmas Paul hope you and the family have a good one :) Merry Christmas to all our members! Hope you all have a happy and healthy New year :)
  20. Thanks mate! :) Don't worry mate, I know how it feels to be busy and rushed off your feet! Sorry to hear your daughter is being bullied :( my brother had the same thing recently and the perpetrator has been expelled. Schools are horrendous places, not one day goes by where I wish I was back at school. I absolutely hated it! Hope it all gets resolved quickly as I know how long these things can be drawn out.
  21. Deffo worth a try but I thought the battery needed coding. Cheers Steve
