  3. Hi Aaron, the exhaust should fit as long as your a4 is 2wd. I believe the quattro models had a slightly different exhaust. Cheers Steve
  4. Welcome to the forum Matthew, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 id agree with Paul and try eBay for an up today disc for the sat nav. if you've tried breakers yards then my other advice would be to try eBay before you make the trip to Audi for the trim. cheers Steve
  5. Welcome to the forum Dave, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the screech couldn't be a fan belt by any chance? cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Don't, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 are you sure the gear box you need isn't CVT?
  7. Welcome to the forum Aaron, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 nice looking a4 you have there 🙂 Cheers Steve
  8. Sorry to hear this Ian. I'll leave you on the list and you can let me know nearer the time if you can come or not. Cheers Steve
  9. Not a problem, just thought I'd suggest it 🙂 and I'd try eurocarparts 🙂 cheers Steve
  10. You're welcome, glad I could help 🙂 Yea cambelt and water pump will be around £500 but.if the car you like needs this then it's worth you ringing around the local Audi dealers and independents to see who is cheaper. You may find certain Audi dealers ha e an offer on.to have the cambelt and water pump changed. Also I'm unsure if you're interested in getting a diesel or petrol. If diesel then be careful as the emissions recall has been known to affect the cars. Ideally get one that's not had the recall done and any owner that has had it done will have a certificate from Audi to say it's been done. If the car you're interested in is for sale shortly after the recall has been carried out then you have to ask why. Has it got eml on or egr problem etc. If you're looking at petrol then the 2.0 has been known to burn oil and the worse case scenario is that a new engine is required as it wrecks the pistons. The specs didn't really change between years that I'm aware of. Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Cristian, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 do you know where abouts the noise is coming from? its a long shot but I'm wondering if an exhaust heat shield has come loose from the body and is rattling on the exhaust? cheers Steve
  12. Hey Derek, you could try eurocarparts. Also it's a long shot but could the a4 just require a gearbox oil change? I ask as the much later a6 c7 has been know not to change gears when the oil hasn't been changed on time. Cheers Steve
  13. Here's one for those who own older Audi's and I'm sure can relate to this!
  14. I can say the Redex is good and found it slightly improved the drive of my a6. But I'm unsure how you'd put it in your tank I'm affraid. Sorry.
  15. Welcome to the forum Leon, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the answer is no as the bumper you mention is post facelift. To make the bumper fit, you'd need the headlights, bonnet and front wings from the same aged vehicle. In effect you'd be giving your car a facelift. cheers Steve
  16. Welcome to the forum Ewan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 my advice would be to go for the newest, lowest mileage car you can. Make sure it has full service history and make sure the car you're looking at has had the cambelt and water pump changed as it'll be due by now. heres a YouTube video which may be useful: cheers Steve
  17. Funny, as I had a similar experience with Aviva. Once they knew I was going to leave they dropped it dramatically. I have 3 cars hence why I'm with them (multicar) but when I added my third car they wanted to charge me £1500 just for that car! I battled with them and said I'll keep my other 2 cars with them as they were cheap but told them I'd got a cheaper quote for the newer car and in the end I got all 3 cars insured for £1500! But.it all depends on the sales person you deal with.
  18. Welcome to the forum Ian, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 ive put you on the list 🙂 just let me know once you've bought your ticket 🙂
  19. Will do Edd! Snap with the sticker by the way 🙂
  20. Well it shouldnt cost you. And you may still be entitled to return the car for a refund, but this isn't guaranteed.
  21. Usually the tyre is stamped with something life OF or something similar to State orginal fit. I thought continentals were the normal ones?
  22. What a result! Glad it's getting sorted Stuart 🙂
