Welcome to the forum Alexandru, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the key question is how has the fuel got contaminated and what tests did Audi perform to come to the conclusion that it was contaminated fuel with water? Did Audi do a diagnostic check to see what fault codes came up? It will be worth you taking it to an independent Audi garage to see what they advise. Cheers Steve

Hi Yasin, You'd be better with a remap rather than a chip. The remap can be made to be tailored to your car whereas the chip can't. The remap will give you more power and torque and potentially better mpg but it all depends whether youll get the initial outlay back in fuel. This will depend on how long you intend to keep the car for. Also you'll have to notify your insurance company that it's been remapped which may increase your insurance. They may ask you for another £50-£100 which is cost you'll have to factor into the remap/fuel cost dilema. If you don't tell your insurers it's been remapped, then you'll void your insurance. It could be one of your undertrays that's broken from it's mountings. I'd be getting this checked asap because if it comes off it could do.more damage to.yoir car or other cars if it comes off. Cheers Steve

My first port of call would be to check the fluid level in the power steering as well as checking tyre pressures. You've not hit a pot hole or something like that? I ask as it could have knocked the tracking out slightly despite it driving fine. Cheers Steve

I'm surprised you weren't offered to have them done together when when you had the egr done. cheers Steve

Hi Yasin, When I had a similar issue with my central locking I had an auto electrician have a look and diagnosed the fault to the drivers door locking mechanism. It cost me £120 to fix. Obviously if it's not this then it could be the central locking module which will be a lot more to replace. In which case it might be worth you getting a diagnostic check carried out to see if any fault codes flag up. With regard to your second issue, what kind of noise is it? If it's a whine then it could be the powers steering pulley or pump. But in my opinion the first thing to check is the power steering fluid. If it's low then there could be a leak in the system.
