  1. Glad it was sorted under warranty for you! Fingers crossed there won't be any other issues Steve. Just watch your rear tyres if they're dunlops as they have a horrible trait of splitting bon the inner sidewalls!
  2. I know that came as a shocker too! Belgium are right on form at the minute.
  3. Not a problem Rob, and nice one! 😀
  4. OMG John I'm jelious! I live the d3 w12 and it makes for an awesome taxi! The question is do you define yourself as the transporter?! Lol
  5. Couldn't agree more Paul, but I'm wondering if vardy will play tomorrow.
  6. Noooo! I hate the cold and thus I love it! I want it to stay forever! I'd move to the canary islands if I could speak Spanish and get a good job there lol
  7. Croker (you're only supposed to blow the !Removed! doors off!)
  8. In that case I'd be getting it to a garage to see what fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
  9. Glad you're pleased with your a4 Karl 🙂 cheers Steve

  13. Sunday 1st July saw the return of the VAG at the manor show, held at the wonderful Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst, Reading. It was a sweltering hot day but ideal for a car show and as such there was a great turn out of VAG clubs from across the country including our own club where we had 5 cars on display. Cars ranged from classic beetles, new cars and even a modified Austin Allegro running aircooled power. The show was well organised as besides the club displays there were the usual trade stalls, bouncy castles for the kids, show n' shine, and food outlets but a keen favorite was clearly the ice cream van! Throughout the day the VAG at the manor DJs kept the air full of tunes which was further supported with various cracking sound systems from some of the cars on display. Show attendees also had access to the country park which boasts its own cafe and outdoor activities such as canoeing and other water sports if they had the need to cool off. Overall VAG at the manor was an enjoyable show and I want to say a big thank you for those members who attended and displayed their cars with the club. I'm sure VAG at the manor is a show that we will be attending next year. Also want to say thank you to Stuart for some of the photos. Cheers Steve
  14. We've never used our slow cooker!
  15. Glad it's passed and will live on 🙂 I find the main dealers list everything wrong, A to get money and B they want your old car to be perfect. I'd dread taking my a6 to a main dealer. It's in very good condition but I bet they would find a mountain of faults. cheers Steve
  16. Sorry to hear your moving over to the sister brand but you'll be happy with the golf match. Smaller wheels and softer suspension will help 🙂 Volkswagen will charge you around £200-£300 for key and coding. However if you buy a key independently from Volkswagen and then get them to code it then it should cost around £55 I think. unsure if you can do it yourself to be honest. Sorry. cheers Steve
  17. I agree nwith Paul, it sounds like limp mode to me or turbo failure. What lights, if any are on the dash? Cheers Steve
  18. It was freezing Paul! But a great show non the less 🙂
  19. Sorry Yulia, my eyes failing me again when looking at your profile. Apologies. Cheers Steve 🙂
  20. Playing against Sweden will be interesting to say the least!
  21. Deadline for pre-ordering tickets is the 10th July. Let's get these tickets booked! 🙂
  22. Hey Ian, do you think you'll make Audis in the park? Cheers Steve
  23. Top marks to Yulia for helping out and offering his R8 out. It really show club spirit. Top work Yulia! 👍 Cheers Steve
