  1. Hi Jay I'm sure it can be retro fitted and I bet it would be a combination of programing it in to the car but extra sensors and sensors may need to be installed. I have found this article on another forum and as you can see it's not straight forward fitting lane assist. Hope you find this link useful :) http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?3295-DIY-Audi-Q5-Active-Lane-Assist-Retrofit-DONE Here's similar info for the acc..... http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?1732-Adaptive-Cruise-Control-retrofit-(2014-Q5) This next link is info on acc but fitting to an a3 but I suspect it would be a similar principal.... https://www.audiworld.com/forums/audi-a3-s3-rs-3-mkii-209/just-found-adaptive-cruise-control-acc-retrofit-kit-2894987/ Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Julian :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) It's odd you can't get the radio out after trying to different sets of keys. You probably can gain access by removing the climate control module. In failing that you may have to take your a3 to Audi or a vehicle radio specialist. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  3. Welcome to the forum Mike :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Rough idling could be caused by an incorrect air/fuel mixture but to be fair you had gathered that. It Could be the maf sensor? But I'll see what some of the more experienced members think :) Cheers Steve
  4. Nice one! Glad you got a set of mats and at a superb price! :) Cheers Steve
  5. Your welcome and thank yu! We definitely try and help.where we can :) As Piotr has said a pic of the glovebox will.help a d I have to agree with him that a diagnostic check might not be a good idea. Like I say though and if it's possible, could it be a blown bulb? Cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Jay :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I have to say I think the stated mpg figures for any manufacturer is over inflated but manufacturers do t test the cars in real life situations. Cheers Steve
  7. Glad its all sorted :) and it great to see you've found a clever way of changing the bulbs :) Cheers Steve

  11. So true! But alcohol and chocolate I'm happy lol. The problem is, when you want sometimes as an adult you just go out and buy it where as this is possible as a kid.
  12. Welcome to the forum Terry :) You'll find d the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'd say if the radio is still working then it could be a bulb within the radio that's at fault. Cheers :) Steve

  16. Hi Adeel Do your wheels not have a manufacturer or number on them? I appreciate that they are RS4 style wheels so the manufacturer maybe a bit vague. But if there is a part number might be worth putting that in a search with the word wheel on Google. It's a long shot but you never know. I speak from experience with this as i got given a steering wheel boss a few years ago. I put in the part number and the word wheel or wheel boss and it came up. It was still available from the original supplier. In failing that I use a breakers yard called hm spares in Leicester. I appreciate they are far way from you but might be worth giving them a call. They are a decent bunch :) unsure if they post though. Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve
  17. That's good then. Another thing.you.coumd try is speak.to.the previous owners listed on the log book. Im Sure they can advise you on what major work the cars had. That's not a bad idea to be honest :) but as I say my a6 has covered 328k and even went to.europe this year and didn't skip a beat! :) Cheers Steve
  18. Sounds good Paul :) Can't say I've ever used it but i think Piotr has. Cheers Steve
  19. You're welcome :) glad I could help :) It's a big.job but.best way for piece of mind. To be fair I would argue that if it's done 215k then it must have been looked after. I mean the PD engine is strong but no engine can cover that mileage without reasonable maintainance. Cheers :) Steve
