  1. I'll say you got that one Paul and move on to the next one. But before I do, can you guess the Audi?!
  2. It definitely looks better ;) Erm I think it depends on the spec and what media system and MMI it has.
  3. Correct Paul!! Here's another oldie! This is from.a marvel tv series from the 70s.
  4. Hi Logan, when I worked at volkswagen we saw alot of cars come in for the emissions recall but would have recorded dpf issues stored on the ecu as well as egr issues. We'd also have cars have issues after the recall but vag stand point is that these issues aren't connected. If it we're me I wouldn't be touching a vag car if it's had the emissions recall and up for sale shortly after. Have a look under the recall section as there is lots of info. Buy basically any vag diesel made after 2006 could be affected. Cheers Steve
  5. LMAO! Well here's a new one that unfortunately isn't cheery but should be an easy one to guess! 😉
  6. Correct Mark! I'll try and find a cheerful one now lol
  7. Don't blame you! I didn't t think the glue will dry in -7 degrees too well.
  8. LMAO correct Paul! Here's another one and again it's a love story (if you can call fifty shades that lol) The film.is from 2014.
  9. Glad you got sorted Gareth :) you've got me thinking to switch over now! :)
  10. Welcome to the forum Fabio, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Nice seeing you on here after speaking on facebook. Don't hesitate to ask any questions :) Cheers Steve
  11. Nice one :) Glad it's a clean break as that makes it far easier. You'd probably have to hold the mirror in situ for 2-3 minutes atleast for the glue to set. Most of the glues take 24 hours to dry. I'd say it would take even longer in the cold temperatures. Cheers Steve
  12. Oh dear, did the garage say what exactly is wrong? I think you'd have more luck finding another Audi engine from the same era if you want it to fit straight in. The mk2 Quattro springs to mind ;)
  13. Here's a new one. The clue is that it's a 2018 released film.
  14. Hi Andrew, I've found these two YouTube videos which may help: However at a guess I'd say leave the ignition on because if you turn it off the car may try and put the electronic handbrake on automatically which it is designed to do. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  15. Correct sir! 😀
  16. Welcome to the forum Chris, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) With regard to your first issue I'd advise you get a diagnostic check carried out to establish what the fault actually is. Your other option could be to replace the switch to see if that cures the problem. If it doesn't then you know it's more likely the motor that's gone. With regard to your second issue, the cheapest option would be to get the interior mirror glue you can get from your local motor factors. I've used both the glue and tape and confirm the glue is better. I've got this experience from my old Ford escort 😉 and as long as neither the base not the mirror are broken you'll be fine. Ie you'll need a clean break to reattach it. Hope that makes sense. Your other option is to pay your windscreen excess and gave a new windscreen fitted. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve

    Lovin' it!

I know what you mean! We were one of those crazy waving drivers lol 😂 My dad was the same, he sold his for the same price he bought it and that was after we owned it for 6 years! We some ours in 2012 and we still miss it. Had to be sold though as it needed a full rebuild including bulkhead and chassis welding. We did sell it fitted with a new crossmember though.
  18. Glad it's all sorted Dennis :) just some advice regarding the windows. If you find the issue happening on both windows it can often be a sign that the battery is on it's way out. Obviously when the battery goes dead it won't lower the windows when you go to open the door. Luckily this won't affect opening the door but you may have to go steady when closing it, so as to not damage the glass. Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Jamie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'd find it very unlikely that the original gearbox will fit and I'd advise fitting the engine and gearbox out of the same doner car. How come are you changing the engine? cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Aaron, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I would suspect the seal can be replaced and either speaking to Audi or TPS for the part. https://tps.trade/parts Or try this part finder on Audi which is on this thread: Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  21. Austin princess
  22. Nope. It's a film from 2013 and was a book before it was made into a film.
