  1. Contact Audi retrofits or autologics as members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results

I'd recommend you speak to Audi to see if they can do a reset.
  3. If under warranty get them to fix it. It'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox last serviced?
  4. I'd recommend getting a second opinion from another garage
  5. Glad you found the forum helpful 🙂 mercs are nice to be fair. 4 years is the longest you've kept a car! I keep mine till they die or majorly go wrong lol.
  6. Is it worth having the heater matrix checked? And a compression test to see if head gasket is failing?
  7. That could be an issue with suspension arms/arm bushes etc.
  8. Glad you got sorted and figured out what it was 🙂
  9. If bought within the last 30 days take it back to the dealer who should fix it free of charge. The 1.4 is know for fuel rail issues. Have you seen proof in the service history of gearbox oil changes? Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?
  10. I'd recommend looking at buyers guides on YouTube. Check service history for proof of gearbox oil changes etc.
  11. You'll need the wiring harness for the buttons. My advice would be to take all the parts from donor/breaker car.
  12. I've had a look online but not found anything. Is there any information on the my Audi app?

Are they diamond cut? If so it might be corrosion happening under the lacquer
  14. No way! Me too! They're reasonably priced. It's a while since I had a service has my a6 is off the road needing an engine. There's also vee dub near branstons.
  15. Are there any fault codes? Also could it be an issue with the maf sensor?
  16. Fingers crossed it stays fixed 🙂
  17. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  18. I think it's just a quirk of the car. If no fault codes, I wouldn't worry about it
  19. Have you asked chapmans Audi specialist in Wigston? I use AC motors in Syston for my Audi and other cars.
  20. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. As this is under Audi warranty I'd get it booked in asap.
  21. Have you had another diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?
  22. Looks great 🙂
  23. The reason why I say it might have been remapped after egr blank is because if it was just blanked off the car would throw up engine management light etc.
  24. Service history is key. Ideally this should be full. Proof of cambelt and water pump changes should be clear otherwise you'll need to get it done. Make sure all electrical items work as some parts are hard to come by now. Make sure heater works consistently in power and temp from all vents as this could be a sign of a failing or blocked heater matrix. Check condition of interior as some interior plastics are no longer available and rare to find second hand. Check YouTube for buyers guides
  25. If the car has xenon headlights then it'll definitely have headlight washers as it's a legal requirement I believe. In theory once you activate the windscreen washers they should pop out to clean the headlights.
