Audi A4 written off cat B, no airbag deployed
Welcome to the forum Kelly :) sorry to hear of your accident. My dad had a similar incident in his 20-3 a3 on a motorway. Again it wrote the a3 off and just like you the airbags didn't deploy. In my dads case the car hit the barrier head on then spun round. Audis are built well but one thing I would ask the insurance company is whether their assessment is based on a visual check or if they have dismantled the car. Again in a real life example I had an accident in a 2008 Suzuki swift and the insurance company told me it was written off. I didn't buy it and asked them whether they had dismantled the car. Needless to say they hadn't dismantled it and it transpired it wasn't even a write off! They discover this after they had dismantled it! Due to the palarva I got compensation from the insurance company due to the way I had been treated and for them taking so long to fix the car! Hope iv helped a little. And hope the situation is resolved quickly. Cheers steve

Audi's in the Park - Deene Park (13th August) - Attendance List
Now that is a good question. I'm going to speak to my dad today as my brother has raced at rockingham. From my memory the carpark is big but I'm just trying to remember if there are barriers or a kiosk on entry. If there is then it's a no go but I'm really struggling to find anywhere to park prior to the show :/

A3 1.0 tfsi S-Tronic
Welcome to the forum Gerry youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm unable to help though as iv not had any experience with the 1.0tfsi engine in the a3 but iv experienced the smal engines tfsi engines in the a1. For town driving it's perfect as it can be nippy at low speeds. However if you are doing a lot of motorway driving you may found the engine is slightly noisey as it's here where the engine has to work hard. Also the S tronic box is nice and is one of the better auto gearboxes out there. Here's the link to the what car review. You may have seen it already but thought I'd share: https://www.whatcar.com/news/2016-audi-a3-10-tfsi-sportback-review/ Hope iv helped a little :) cheers steve

Rns-e Bluetooth
Welcome to the forum :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I have to agree with Sven, it sounds to me like the car doesn't have the function. It is quite common now for manufacturers to put in the buttons for nav and Bluetooth as they are all attached to one button control module. They do this as it cuts manufacturing costs. The manufacturers just don't active the feature in the cars computer plus they don't fit the microphones etc. Audi do it, BMW do it and even Vauxhall do it, just to name a few. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. As Sven has said get the previous owner run through a step by step with you on how to set it up or get him to show you. But from what you've said it Deffo sounds like the car hasn't got Bluetooth. Cheers steve

Audi A6 Avant 2010 TDI
Welcome to the forum Sam :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) it sounds to me like the car is just doing a diesel particulate filter (dpf) regen. This is totally normal. Basically the car keeps the fan on to keep the engine cool whilst it slows the particulates to be burned off from the dpf, if that makes sense. All Diesel engines made after 2006 will have a dpf and as such the regen is normal. The car does this so tar the dpf doesbt get blocked as this would lead to expensive repair bills. If you don't mind me asking what type of driving do you use the car for? Is it city or motorway driving? If it's city driving then I would advise you give the car a good motorway blast nice a week to allow the carbon and soot to be cleared out of the dpf. You've probably seen this on other diesels when a big puff of black smoke comes out of the exhaust. Dont eorrybabout the essay, my response is just as long! Hope iv helped :) cheers Steve

Problem, Doors opening from outside
Welcome to the forum Sasikumar :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) have you tried replacing the batteries in the key fob? In failing that have had a chance to reset the te keys? it clearly sounds to me that it is a key issue and not a central locking issue as you are able to unlock the doors from the inside. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve

Leicestershires abandoned roads
And here's another one: this is the old Thurmaston Lane in Leicester which got split in two because of a new road. As an be seen some of it is now a footpath/cycle track but the old road is visable and abit further along it's a dead end but still clearly a road!
