  3. If it's the centre screen pixelating then this can be replaced with the cluster. Have a look for instrument cluster specialists in your area.
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Are the auto lights working properly when driving?
  5. Not unless the previous owner paid for it.
  6. Have you considered this:
  7. Yes, I'd avoid it! You have to ask why the current owner is selling it, maybe it's not cheap to fix. Has it been in a crash?
  8. You're welcome and no probs at all ๐Ÿ˜Š
  9. Have a look to see if the gearbox has been serviced. Check to see if the cambelt and water pump has been changed. Make sure all electrical items work. Check buyers guides on YouTube.
  10. There you go, thought it would. Going to have this weather till Tuesday I believe.
  11. You're welcome. You'll probably find the whole washer system is frozen up too.
  12. Can you hear the doors unlocking when you press the fob?
  13. Probably ยฃ700 ISH.
  14. It's definitely headlight washer. This can be quite normal in these very cold conditions. Don't push them back in as you can break them. Let them go back in on their own once it's warmed up.
  15. This link should help: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/958048-Anyone-Ever-Replace-a-LED-DRL-on-a-C7
  16. Glad you sorted it, well done for the guide as I'm sure it'll help others.
  17. Probably ยฃ1k tops if the engine has to come out.
  18. Well if you have a code reader it might show fault codes. But clearly an Audi job.
  19. It'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could just be a wheel sensor but but usually/in theory there'd be a hold function disabled or similar warning if the car had picked up a problem. see what Edinburgh Audi says. Keep us posted on how you get on.
  20. That's a great result. Did they just turn off the light?
  21. Hello all, I'm UK based and in need of a new windscreen and I've been in contact with Ricky Evans Motorsport who can supply heated windscreens for the narrow body A6 at ยฃ270+ vat. There has to be a minimum of 5 orders, is anyone else interested in a heated windscreen? Their details are: Ricky Evans Motorsport Unit 11, Roman Park Claymore , Tame Valley Ind Est Tamworth Staffs B77 5DQ Tel +44(0)1827283688 email [email protected]
  22. I agree with Cliff. Often 100-150k usually. But you only change them once they start to make a noise etc.
  23. Glad you got sorted ๐Ÿ™‚
  24. True I guess and thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
  25. It's a big job on an A8 including engine removal
