  1. I'd expect 40s unless just town driving and short trips.
  2. I'm not sure but I'd get this into a garage to be checked asap if it were mine.
  3. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the auto box last serviced?
  4. That's odd. If within 30 days take it back to the supplying dealer to sort as this should be done FOC
  5. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Very nice, sure you'll enjoy it in summer, if we get any!
  6. Fingers crossed they got a good one 🤞
  7. How old is the battery? If the battery is starting to fail it can throw up various electrical issues.
  8. My colleague has a fiesta with 40k miles. Engine just gone bang.
  9. Too true, what would be worse is an eco boost with a powershift auto gearbox!
  10. Any update on your situation Will?
  11. No probs at all. Once seats are out I think the plastic side trims round the base of the door apertures unclip and some clips just under the dash. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  12. I agree with Gareth, take it to a local garage. If it does have an electronic handbrake when this will need to be put in the service position by vcds or similar
  13. Looks fantastic 🙂👍
  14. Most prefer Cambelt lol
  15. Was it bought privately or via a dealer?
  16. Had a look on YouTube. Here's a couple of vids that might be useful Seat removal
  17. Thought I'd do a guide highlighting which Audi models had a timing chain or Cambelt driven 4.2 V8 for reference. All C5 models equipped with the 4.2 V8 excluding allroad is belt driven which is much better to service, and All D2 A8,S8, and D3 A8 up to 2006 The models that use the modified FSI chain driven 4.2 V8 engines are the C5 Allroad (BAS engine code), C6 A6, D3 A8, and A8L starting in 2007, S4, RS4, Q7. An engine pull is required to service the timing chain on these FSI units due to the location being at the back of the engine next to the firewall. overall the belt driven engines are better serviceable and also have less issues if well maintained. The chain driven 4.2 is known for overheating issues and timing chain issues.
  18. Can't recommend trees but I'd recommend a full wheel alignment and Speedo recalibration as it could be out more than normal.
  19. I'd suspect that the bag isn't inflating and changing it is the only option.
  20. Sorry this wasn't answered. Your probs best transferring any door modules etc from your current car so it doesn't throw any fault codes etc. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  21. Glad we've helped, please keep us posted on how you get on once you've picked it up 🙂 Changing the glass with genuine tinted glass would be costly. Especially the side boot windows as these are bonded into the car body. I paid £120 (very good price) for one to be replaced after someone smashed one of mine. Door windows are more straightforward to change. Not sure about the boot window, but I believe it's bonded in also.
  22. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  23. Has it come with a spare key, if so try it either that first. As it could be an issue with the key (most likely) or an issue with the receiver. If bought from a dealer in the last 30 days then the supplying dealer should fix this FOC.
  24. I'd recommend you speak to other remappers such as revo, darkside developments, Celtic tuning as example.
  25. Speaking from an owner from a similar aged Audi (A6 C5) Interior trim is hard to come by and some external trim is becoming short supply. Service history is key and make sure there's no smell of damp ect of water ingress. Check footwells for damp carpets. Make sure all electronic items work as they can be expensive to change.
