I guess mic is part of the wiring harnes that go is to every car. Did you search with your phone for bluetooth devices and its not showing ?

I had same dilema... kwik fit quoted me over £1000 255/35/19 I went to my usual place where i fix my car and the guy recomended budget tyres for £300 ( inc fitting and balance ) i wasnt keen on budget tires first but after reading online i went for them. 6 months after they still as new with very low noise and good mpg . First get a vcds scan done for any faults. It could be a faulty sensor ... . When the car on try to search witj your phone for bluetooth devices . If it not on the list then you dont have bluetooth modul installed

You might be better off buying a ami blutooth dongle and stream music from your phone or like it was said before usb stickGreen menu needs to be enabled using vcds cable But im supprised as its a factory fit that is not working. You do need to chose your sourse first to use auxHave you got mmi2g or 3g ?Whem my battery was failing it showed up lots of errors and fault codes. It might be worth looking in this direction Also it might be worth connecting to rosstech vag com cable and scan at a local garage to see if any fault codes have come back since.Im close to hampshire We could orginise a local meet up for our members even if it is for breakfast , it dosent have to be a big eventI run a budget £350 for 4 tyres on 19" rims for over year now , no issues at all and minimum wearWhat car? What mmi ?Use phone bluetooth to look for the car not the other way around. It worked for me
