  2. Onboard Sat Nav is not reliable or functional. Especially the speed limits are anything but correct. Do not use them at all. No issues 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾so far with Apple car play
  3. Now you tell us! No wonder the engine is a wreck.
  4. Hi I think you need an auto electrician to sort this one out but I have a sneaking suspicion the comfort control modules have possibly been fried as they don't like water or being shorted to earth, my advice is tell the mechanic he has to pay for the fix. Steve.
  5. Hi you can't just swap the airbag module as the steering wheel originally fitted is completely different, an auto electrician could probably sort the wiring but the new wheel would need coding in and thats if you don't need another control module. Steve.
  6. So changed oil and filter just now. Sump is bone dry. No loss of revs removing oil filler cap with engine running. No engine management lights Scanned with VCDS nothing untoward there (couple of none related faults) No smoke from exhaust Ive manged to source an OEM valve which should be here within a few days as apposed to the 10 days from Audi UK Watch this space as they say .
  7. leave as is. Is an extra 25bhp going to make much difference anyway?. Future classic for sure.
  8. I suspect the sensors for the window travel are faulty, but I really don't know anything about them. A diagnostic code reader should be able to pinpoint the problem.
  9. quick update about my experience if anyone interested: 1) I changed cars from 2 door Corsa D to A6 C6 (both with same hp and torque. 130/300) 2) compared to Corsa its twice as long and almost 1.5x more in weight. due to the narrow streets and small parking spaces, its important to be more cautious.. (especially when reversing with no sensors lol) 3) Engine power (130hp/320 torque) is not enough for this car. acceleration is way to slow due to turbo late response, especially when fully stopped at busy roundabout. you gotta make sure that u revving the car right before you move, otherwise u risking getting hit and claimed XD *(getting 35mpg in town and about 45 on dual carriageways) *(planning doing Stage 1 to get this more responsive with less turbo lag) 4) car has bluetooth only for phone calls sadly.. any solutions??? 5) Tail light seals. unlcuky for me, LED's weren't working on my car due to water damage inside the housing. half of the hardware (where bulbs are mounted) was corroded.. I will be doing research about few things for this car but will ask for the links here anyway: 1) Bluetooth for media (mmi 3g) 2) any reliable company for safely installing stage 1? celtic tuning gives about 205hp but from what I read about them, it seems risky. I found other link from this forum which gets about 185hp and honestly I don't mind it as far as it won't blow up the engine lol 3) sport exhaust? I honestly have no idea what Im talking about here, I just want sportier sound exhaust but not loud ones.. 4) body parts? grille, side skirts? diffuser? where do you guys buy this kind of parts? Thank you
  10. Well done for pursuing a resolution. Likewise, I had 3 A6 Allroads before which were superb. I would have had another one but they are no longer made/imported, so I thought the SQ5 would be a good replacement. Air suspension, Bi-Turbo (my last A6 was a Bi turbo). The SQ5 felt like a bit of a boy racer car and was quite cramped in the back compared to the A6. I was a bit miffed to find the dual twin pipe exhausts, which looked great, were actually not connected to anything, which I thought was a bit of a con. I saw an SQ8 the other day with the same issue. The ride finished me off eventually though (and my wife also!). The handling of the SQ5 was pretty outstanding though if you were not carrying passengers! I have now got an A8, which is wonderful to drive and incredibly quiet, so I am happy at the moment. Now I have to find someone who can fit a towbar on the A8, which has proven to be difficult.

  12. Hello All. Can anyone confirm whether Audi have extended the drivetrain warranty in the UK as a result of the issue with coolant leaking within the motor housing, and if so, to what level? Im aware that in the US this is now valid for up to 120K miles. Many thanks.
  13. Hello everyone, im searching for an Audi S3 8L (1999-2003) with a mileage below 5.000km for my collection. If anyone knows a car, please contact me! Thanks! Regards, Timo
  14. this is not displaying just saying server not found ? i am looking for the location of this module too if anyone can assist please

  16. Cheers Steve, Yeah I thought it was weird, I've got the extended warranty with Audi so if it is that then hopefully it'll be covered. It may well have just been a coincidence that it happened after the brake work Ryan
  17. Head gaskets would be a whole new world of wallet pain but your description was very precise giving no indication of system pressurising, looking forward to a glowing success. Steve.
  18. Sort of hoping it’s not the sensor tbh
  19. Cliff. Many thanks again for your prompt reply. FYI here is a list of acceptable audio formats for the 2025 Audi A5. The 2025 Audi A5's MMI infotainment system supports a wide variety of standard and high-fidelity audio formats. Whether you are streaming or playing locally stored music, the accepted formats include: [1, 2, 3] Lossless/High-Resolution: FLAC Compressed/Standard: MP3, AAC, and M4A Apple: Apple AAC and M4A Others: WMA [1, 2, 3] If you are loading music onto a USB-C flash drive or SD card to use directly with the vehicle's system, ensure that the drive is formatted to FAT32 or exFAT for the best compatibility. [1, 2, 3] I’m using music with the M4A format so it shoukd be ok. I can’t think of anything else to try.
  20. No, you clip the ChassisEAR to the suspension arms, then drive and it picks up which one is creating the creak
  21. Hi. You said that you had rough warm start issues. What were the symptoms for this? I am also experiencing issues when the engine is warm, and I'm starting the car, and the engine dies right away. This is so random, so I'm not sure what to track next. My battery voltage when the engine is off is 12.4V. I also attached a video to see what issue I'm facing. IMG_2480.MOV
  22. Car is 20 months old so not exactly soon after build.
  23. Bless ya not a problem! Easy to get mixed up. I've done it plenty of times.
  24. Hey Audi fans, does any of you have Q4 2025? I wonder what software you have in the care as I've had 0621 which caused me issues with charging to 100% and communicating with the car through my Audi app and now Audi has upgraded my software here in the UK to 4325 and there is another bug that is causing my Android phone to disconnect while driving. Has any of you experienced the same ?
  25. My tuppence worth. Problems with the 25MY B10 are well documented and although it shouldn't happen, and in my opinion should have been addressed before the 26MY was released, to Audi's credit, they have acknowledged the software issues. It's something I would have been able to ( and still am ) reject the car. Outwith the software issues, my car came with a couple of faults - sticking brakes and an annoying rattle from door panel, both of which were rectified at dealership. That can happen to any car regardless who the manufacturer is. A smearing windscreen wiper typically means both the rubber and the glass need cleaned. First thing I've done with every VW group car I've owned is replace the wipers with Bosch aerowipers, but thus far it's never been required with this A5. (They look very similar to the Bosch ones) Software: I don't get as many system failures since the 'open/close' door solution but I'm led to believe that the software fix for MY25 is now being rolled out - EV cars this month, ICE next month. You should be notified via My Audi app when the update is available. It'll require a dealer visit. Regarding the battery. Welcome to modern cars. Our other car is a Toyota hybrid, one of the most reliable cars on sale. That too has already undergone a battery replacement due to the battery management system. The 'fix' if you can call it that, is the car now notifies me when the battery needs attention and the car has to be driven to charge the battery. Modern cars don't seem to be able to cope with sitting doing nothing for 2 weeks as they're constantly monitoring themselves. If you're knowingly going to leave the car sitting for several weeks or more then best solution would be to put it on a trickle charge. That goes for any modern car but especially for those that you're able to communicate via a mobile app. Hope that's of some use.
