Bootsy Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 Hello all, My 2011 A6 2.0tdi just won’t start, I press the button and all I get is a click then a whirring sound from the engine I’ve got all the lights and the battery is giving the correct voltage, I’ve changed the starter motor and the 645 relay. Steve Q Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 You can call the AA or similar breakdown company who will come and plug a computer in to see if there are any fault codes. When you say the ‘battery is giving the correct voltage’ , can we take it that the voltage has been measured on an on-load situation i.e when you are try to operate the starter? Kind regards, Gareth.
