Hi looking for some advice my rear boot has stopped working on my c8…I can here it trying to open but nothing happening ..I have tried opening from drivers door and key pad and still nothing ..when I try and open manually I can feel here something trying to open but nothing happens …any ideas?

Hi sounds like an earthing problem or the latching system is sticking, try it from the boot release on the tailgate but push the boot lid down whilst activating the release pad then still holding the release pad pull the lid up.

Thanks I will give that a try before putting into garage 

Th electronic motors cut out if it detects resistance it will stop the opening/closing process. 
 

worth trying to get it open and see if it closes. If it doesn’t it may be the motor or the sequencing of open/close is back to front.

Known issue with door sensors. Search Copilot for it. Known issues with no faults no being logged too....

Had the same issue boot was working not woprking - ordered the following from Ali express and change in 30-40 minutes.
