Magnet Posted Friday at 02:58 PM Posted Friday at 02:58 PM Can you ask them whether it was an engine earth cable or the positive feed cable to the starter?
cliffcoggin Posted Friday at 03:21 PM Posted Friday at 03:21 PM Glad to hear the problem is solved and that you don't need yet another starter motor.
sarahb3579 Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago so turns out the starter motor wire was fried because (and in the best way i can explain)- the previous owners added the wrong starter motor that was generating too much power/ voltage which then led to the cable becomming coroded.
