Does this engine sound right  ?any replys would be so greatfull thinking of buying her but not a  mechanic very little knowledge

Hi Tony. Sounds OK to me. But I am no mechanic either. The other thing is, how many miles and how much.

Tony

Never mind what the seller told you, can he provide written evidence of the car's service history? If he can not, walk away from the deal unless you fancy some expensive repair bills.

Relying on a video and the vendor's patter to inform a purchase decision is something you will regret for ever. Go see the car, drive it, and examine the paperwork. If you don't feel confident enough in your own judgement take a knowledgeable friend or get the car independently examined. I believe the RAC or AA can provide that service.

Above all don't rush into a decision. If you miss out on this one there will always be another.

Do you think it sounds good nothing screaming out at you as I dint know much about cars

Hello Tony,

Further to the PM you sent me. Your video doesn’t work  on my system.
If all the entries in the service book are supported by invoices rather than card payment receipts then I would be less suspicious of lack of a business stamp for each of the service book entries.

You tell me - in effect- you aren’t experienced enough to form a decision yourself.
If I was in your position I wouldn’t entertain proceeding with any deal without having an independent examination of the car.

Regards,

Gareth.
