Fault p208c00

Featured Replies

Hi,

looking for a little info if anyone can help. I was driving this morning and hit a massive puddle after around 30mins after the engine management light came on. Came home and checked with topdon scanner and came up with p208c00. My first thought was water in a plug from puddle but stripped all plugs from pump, sensor and control module and cleaned with electrical contact cleaner then blew everything out with airline. Put all back together and fault still showing active. I have looked online and not alot of info on this code alone. If someone could point me in the correct direction i would be very grateful.

thanks in advance

David

Thanks for that Steve.
i am going to do just that. The engine management light is not on atm so hopefully it goes away. I have not had anything on dash with a countdown to non start. Hopefully it has just been water in something and it dries out. I have been looking at a few pump prices and i don't really fancy replacing.
