Hi all,

My windscreen jets aren’t running properly. Can hear the motor running but it’s just dribbling out of both sides. There’s plenty fluid in as the headlights are being sprayed but it takes a while for it to come through the windscreen. 
 

I’ve attached a video for you to see what I mean.

 

Im thinking of just buying replacement washer jets but wondering if it could be something else?

I'd recommend looking at clearing the current ones first. Also check for leaks on the system. 

It's common for jets to block with dirt or mould.

Some cheap washer fluid can block the jets so as Steve suggests try a clean first. Jets on headlamps tend to be slightly larger.

Thanks for the replies, ill remove the current ones and look at clearing them.

A bit of water in the reverse direction usually works, aided by a sewing pin if necessary.

Could Also be the pump partially blocked as screen wash can build up into a gum like texture and block the gauze on pump inlet.  Pop a pipe off one of the jets and give it a hard blow if compressed air isn’t available. You should be able to hear the bubbles in the washer bottle quite easy. If that is the cause then the bottle will need a good clean out as the blockage will fined its way back to the pump

Wouldn’t recommend using a pin on the newer type washer jets as the spray pattern can be damaged easy
