  1. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.
  2. If the dealer has broken it then it's their duty to fix it FOC.
  3. Could there be an issue with leaking boost pipes?
  4. I've found you can't run an Audi on a show string no matter how old the car gets.
  5. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Have you looked on eBay? Or spoken to your nearest Audi parts department?
  6. The only other one I can think of is the motoring ombudsman
  7. That is a disgrace. One that needs to go to watch dog or trading standards

    ECU!!!!

You might just have to bite the bullet and spend £1500 from Audi.
  9. You're welcome. The only Audi independent specialist in Leicestershire is Chapman's based in wigston. Not that I've ever used them.
  10. It could be retrofitted. I'd recommend you speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results
  11. Bilstein shocks are supposed to be good. Ive got kyb on the rear of my old a6.
  12. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  13. Sorry to hear of your situation. The only thing I can think of us changing to an android auto etc touch screen
  14. That's worth noting. Thanks for the info 🙂
  15. You need to be speaking to the person who did the remap has first port of call. Then get a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up
  16. Keep us posted on how you get on
  17. In my case I'm chasing a lead on a replacement engine and going on Monday to see the donor car, owner and workshop where the engine will be transplanted. All being well of course! I hope, pray and fingers crossed it's all good so I can get my A6 back on the road
  18. No probs at all. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  19. Yep could be the cam sensor. Did you change the lambda sensor when it threw up a code?
  20. Apologies, I've just re-read your post, should have read it properly the first time 🤦‍♂️ If it's just first gear could it be a linkage? My wife has this similar issue on her Corsa many years ago. Engine wise, plans are afoot to get it back in the road. Early days yet but watch this space 😉
  21. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 stunning looking car 👍
  22. I'm in Leicestershire
  23. It sounds like clutch to me.
  24. Do t get me started. Been trying to find something similar for my a6 with no success. No garages want to do an engine swap. If you can't find the exact engine code like I couldn't then you might need the matching ECU, cluster and injection pump with the doner. This is what I need In my case.
