Transverse engine fitted longitudinally
As the title says can a transverse engine be fitted longitudinally? I'm still struggling to get the A6 back on the road, and obviously considering other engines than Audi. As you know I've considered everything from longitudinal v8s thought to i4 engines from Isuzu 2.8 or land rover 200/300tdi. But also wondering if a 2ar-fxe Toyota engine and gearbox from a MK4 Toyota RAV4. This engine is transverse but wondering if it or any other transverse engine would fit?

Ow that's naughty, as I thought software updates are FOC and classed on the system as a recall. Or they used to be when I worked at Volkswagen

Traction light on + ABS please help Audi A3 54 plate
Is it worth considering the abs sensors? As they're cheaper to replace before changing the module

Hello and question time.
Regarding them saying if it's not in the paperwork they'll do it, I'd want to know why a 10 year old car hasn't already had a Cambelt and water pump change and auto gearbox service! They should be checking the history and telling you what it's had done. I'd like to think a 1 owner car has had the work done on time. But with a 1 owner car you have to ask yourself why have they chosen to get rid of the car now. Sorry for sounding pessimistic. Don't forget if you purchase it, you get 30 days where you can get a full refund for the vehicle, or the garage has to fix issues free of charge. You could get an AA inspection or similar done on the vehicle. If the garage refuse then you'd have to ask why.

Hello and question time.
Check to see if the Cambelt and water pump have been changed. Also if it's an auto make sure the gearbox has had services on time. This also goes for the quattro system if it has it. Make sure all electronic items work Especially the mmi and air conditioning etc. Major parts that can fail are dpf, egr or turbo all of which could be £1k bill each. Also check YouTube videos for buyers guides.

A3 2.0 TDI 2010 won’t start in hot sunny weather
What are the errors? You're English is good don't worry🙂 if you're getting various codes could there be an issue with the battery? a failing battery can throw up all sorts of electrical problems. If the battery is 5-7 years old or older then it could be starting to fail. I'd recommend a battery test.

Have you had ECU or cam sensor looked at?

A3 2.0 TDI 2010 won’t start in hot sunny weather
Have you done a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?

Audi coupe gt sunroof
You might find the sunroof parts were made by a separate company such as webasto. Best bet is to look on eBay including international sellers

Loss of Power
No probs. You could do a small drive, but honestly you should know by how the car runs. Obviously don't rule out injectors.
-
Loss of Power
Only unplug it to test to see how it runs. Don't continually drive it for miles. As I say it might not work as the A3 is more advanced than the old Volvo I removed the maf sensor on.

Timing belt 2.0 diesel
I live near Leicester and use AC motor services in Syston, near Leicester. There's also Chapmans independent Audi specialist in Wigston Leicester but I've not used them personally.

IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT SIDE STEPS TO A MILD HYBRID Q7 ?
As a side note, you have to notify your insurance company if fitting them as they're classed as a modification these days.

A7 2016 Rear Spoiler Fault
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could be an issue with the switch.

Intermittent Notchy/Stiff Steering
Has it got electronic power steering? If so, how olds the battery? If it's over 5-7 years old then it could be failing which is causing the steering not to work properly as it's drawing a lot of power.

A6 Avant airbag light on permanently
One of the most common causes is a loose airbag wire under the passenger seat. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could also be the airbag deactivation switch in the glovebox.

Replacing Car Battery
It'll definitely need to be coded.

Loss of Power
When I had a rough running Volvo 940 I disconnected the maf sensor and it ran better. I knew mad sensor was faulty. Once it was replaced it ran spot on. Not sure if you can try that trick with the A3 as it's more technical.

Audi A6c8 rear spring lower mounting corrosion
First time I've heard of this. Sounds like a design flaw.
