  1. Yea it could be a level sensor and probably the cheapest part to change.
  2. Adblue faults are common it's often the sensor or the module that fails.
  3. Could definitely be the relay at fault. At least the compressor is working. Or a module fault.
  4. If the Halfords one has a 5 year guarantee then you can't go far one in my opinion.
  5. Look at YouTube videos for buyers guides. Check for timing chain rattle on start up. Timing chain needs doing around 100k. What's the service history on it? Has gearbox and quattro system been serviced? Do all electrical items work? Have a look under A7 section as certain models can eat Dunlop tyres (first generation).
  6. You'll need the headlights, module, possible wiring harness then get it coded to the car. For costings I'd recommend you speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results.
  7. Not sure to be honest. Like you I did the same and have the rnse unit in my garage. However I'm thinking of going the aftermarket route as I like the idea of having Bluetooth on the screen and a reverse camera possibly.
  8. Very nice 👍
  9. No probs at all. To be fair I'm old school and prefer having a dipstick. I don't have too much trust in technology or computers.
  10. It's not easy. You'll need the head unit, upgraded antenna, wiring harnesses, additional modules? The simplest option is to fit an aftermarket android auto/apple car play touch screen.
  11. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Just curious what you're putting the running gear in?
  12. Will keep thinking where else it could be getting in.
  13. If it has an alarm I suspect the siren will be in the boot side panel. Electric aerial was standard I think as was the headlights on function. Even my old ford escort has that. If you have a sticker in your boot it might have the different codes on it which would highlight the spec when codes are put in a decoder. Think clear lenses were fitted to facelift cars if I'm not mistaken
  14. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  15. You might have to contact Audi or an auto locksmith
  16. Good job you found the damage before you ran it
  17. I'd check eBay but some engines different have the comparability
  18. Timing could be out. When was the timing belt last changed? It could have stretched.
  19. You'll have to see if the end matches in your car.
  20. I've seen on the car campers groups on Facebook that people have made their own blinds. Using cardboard as a template then using thermal bubble wrap insulation from b&q, insulating roll similar to make custom ones. Plus this link might help: https://ethanmaurice.com/blog/how-to-make-blackout-window-shades-for-a-camper-van-or-element
  21. All looks normal to me.
  22. It would fit your Avant and is a direct fit if you have electric seats.
  23. It's a rubber compound. You can buy stickers that go over the existing switch gear like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394651879019?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=avueyyaerko&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  24. Most have just replaced the pump
  25. Could water be getting in where the roof and boot meet? Isn't there a seal there that could fail?
