  1. Too true Cliff.
  2. Could definitely be an issue with the megatronics. When was the gearbox oil last changed as this can sometimes cause selector issues if it's old oil.
  3. Speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them a d been pleased with the results.
  4. What ever the claimed figures are, take 10mpg off that for real world figures
  5. The drive from Kendal to Keswick in the Lake District is one of the most scenic drives in England. It's only 30 miles and takes you through some of the most beautiful places in the North West including Ambleside, Windermere and more.
  6. Has the car already got sat nav or is it greyed out on the mmi? If it's greyed out then it needs activating by Audi to make it work. If you already have it then in theory either eBay or Amazon should work.
  7. I suspect there won't be a cheap fix. Your repair sounds like it's worked though
  8. It's shocking the level of car theft.
  9. Check this thread. Do not drive it till it's fixed! As you can do more damage and end up with a more expensive repair.
  10. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. You could look at a second hand unit on eBay or similar
  11. This will partly depend on the kind of mileage you do whether diesel or petrol would be best. Check service history for proof of cambelt and water pump change, gearbox oil change (especially important if automatic), check all electrical items work Including air conditioning and infotainment system. Check Hester to make sure temperature and blower is consistent, if it's not it could be an issue with the heater matrix Check buyers guides on YouTube
  12. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  13. I'd say you're probably right either your assumption. You could also get a diagnostic test to see if any fault codes flag up
  14. I think you'll need a replacement compressor. Make sure all the wiring is checked first etc to make sure that's all ok.
  15. Keep us posted on how you get on
  16. Looks nice 👍
  17. I thought they just pop out if you squeeze top and bottom of the grill together to remove the tabs? https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/789292-Fog-light-grill-piece-removal
  18. Have you tried eBay including international sellers?
  19. It sounds like a loose wire or bad earth to me.
  20. You'll need the GPS antenna, modules, wiring loom etc. You're esr buying the complete kit from a breaker car. Alternatively the cheaper option would be to fit an aftermarket head unit which has apple car play and android auto, that way you can run Google maps through it.
  21. Well done! Glad you got sorted 🙂
