  1. Which radio is it? Can you upload a picture?
  2. I think it is just clipped in but not 100% certain
  3. Sounds an electrical.fault. How old is the battery? As old batteries can cause all sorts of electrical issues. Especially if the alternator isn't charging it?
  4. You're welcome 🙂 the c5 is my speciality 😉
  5. You're welcome, glad you got sorted 🙂
  6. Glad you got sorted 🙂 insurance is a ripoff
  7. Ridiculous. One reason why I try and buy from eBay where I can. I've used OEMvwshop too which are good.
  8. Dont think there is a way round it.
  9. I'd recommend speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for this sort of thing. I doubt it'll be cheap though
  10. There should be various Bluetooth adapters that plug into the back of your current radio depending on what radio it is.
  11. I always went off the rule what ever figures the dealer claimed, take 10mpg off them for a roughly realistic figure
  12. It depends if the car is set up on long life servicing or not. Audi would be able to tell you. And inform you of all the work it's had in its life by Audi. Filter change may depend on engine but I think it's roughly 5 years or 50k. Whichever comes first
  13. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  14. Could be the heater control unit. Contact Julius from this eBay link. He breaks c5s. I've had bits from him. Very helpful. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163720125396?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J_mXsPy2Qdi&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  15. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  16. I'm sure it could be replaced. I'd recommend speaking to an auto electrican or Audi specialist.
  17. If the eBay one never turned up I suspect it was probably coming from overseas. I always look at UK sellers. You could always get your current one painted.
  18. Not sure when the new model.is due for release. It's a good deal then go for it.
  19. I'd recommend looking at the wiper motor. Most likely water has got into the motor a d shorted it.
  20. I'd get it back to the dealer. Could be the suspension arms or the bushes within the suspension arms.
  21. Definitely no free way unfortunately.
  22. Was it working before?
  23. I'd recommend getting an auto electrican to take a look
  24. If you've had it changed and it's still leaking then I'd be taking it back to the garage that did the work.
  25. Im always on the side of preventive maintenance but then again I'm sentimentally attacked to my A6 c5. All items you've mentioned are wear and tear items. The 1.9 is quite a strong engine if well looked after.
