  1. What mileage are you doing? I've town/motorway etc. How is the car driven? I know if I drive my ford Kuga daily enthusiastically I get down to 33mpg. The cold affects the mpg too. I do think your mpg is slightly low. I'd expect that from my A6 2.5tdi v6 round town.
  2. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely looking A5 👍
  3. Might be worth ordering a second hand head unit but bare in mind it might need coding to the car
  4. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Alternatively get an Audi specialist or auto electrican to take a look
  5. Yea. My experience of petrol hybrid Kia niro I had as a courtesy car was 55mpg on motorway and that was a few years ago.
  6. Glad you got sorted.
  7. Looks a lovely car. It will be an expensive retrofit. You'll need the seatbelts, seatbelt loom, seats, mounting points (metal bracing). Plus you'll have to change the v5 document. I'd recommend you speak to Audi retrofits. Or alternatively, find a q7 in a breakers yard and buy the whole kit. My old A6 is a 7 seater, and I know the conversion is quite involved and not cheap to do. This link should help: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-discussion-112/q7-5-seater-7-seater-2939656/
  8. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  9. Apologies, typing too fast. I think certain Audi engines are known for timing chain and tensioner failures.
  10. Think you'll be expecting in the 50s for mpg. Less round town if just running on the engine.
  11. That's good then 🙂 hopefully the leak is an easy fix
  12. How odd, that's definitely an unusual fix!
  13. Nice one Kev! Did it need much for mot?
  14. Thanks for giving us all a definitive answer 🙂
  15. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  16. I can't give specific advice on this engine but I like to do preventative maintenance on mine too. Definitely make sure the car is regularly serviced, mine is over serviced if anything. You could change the pump for peace of mind. Or speak to tuners such as darkside developments, Revo or Celtic tuning to see if they can advise on an upgraded/heavy duty fuel pump. You might find your pump or similar variants are fitted to other vehicles.
  17. Quattro is the 4wd. I'd recommend going off the part number. That's what I've had to do recently to get the lower and upper sumps for mine. Once you have the part number you can put that in eBay search bar.
  18. If it's a rattle and car has timing chain then this could definitely be the cause. I'm.dyre certain Audi's suggested from tensioner or chain failures.
  19. You've done a great amount of work so far. It the gearbox control module be at fault I wonder?
  20. Sounds good to me, I'd definitely leave it in auto mode.
  21. I'd recommend a more sophisticated diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could be a failing sensor.
  22. Does it not come as one unit with the pump?
  23. Looks lovely, good on ya for getting it road worthy again 👍 just in time for spring too!
  24. I'd be looking at similar cars on eBay and autotrader. Don't bother with we buy any car etc as the car your selling will be a future classic, especially with the colour and trim selected and low miles.
  25. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up or to reset the mmi to see if that resolved it.
