  8. To be fair all drivers tailgate. However I admit the only time I do is if I'm trying to prevent someone moving into my lane in front of me. As there are those people who cut into lanes at the last minute to take junctions.
  9. Hope the results come back good.

In my opinion Gary, you can't go wrong with Halfords rubber mats, if you buy a decent set at around £25+ genuine mats will be at least £40 for the fron alone. I have Halfords mats in my Ford escort and they've last 10 years! Cheers steve
  18. Hi John, how bad are the wings? I ask as my a6 had very rusty front wings (the edge was crumbling away!) which I had replaced. However despite how bad they were the body shop did say that a cheaper alternative was to fill them filler. The garage said this would be cheaper and only advisable if I was looking to sell the car as it was only a patch work to make it less unsightly. This could be an option for you with your current wings if they are just rusty and not distorted in any way. To be honest I think any pattern parts always need some fettling to fit unfortunately. Cheers steve

Not a problem Gary :) glad I could help :) sounds to me the best course of action for you would be to get a remap. As I say it will be tailored to your car and your requirements. And as long as your not looking for stupid power the auto box will manage just fine :) the remap potentially may improve mpg as your improving the running of the engine but but it's not guaranteed. Cheers steve
  20. This video should help :) cheers steve

Hey Gary, what kind of tuning are you thinking? A good place to start what be a to remap the ecu. This would give you a health power increase and should give you a smoother torque curve. Each remap should be tailored to the car as every car is different due to age, mileage and the way it's been driven. Just remember to have the car in fine fettel because the remap will just speed up the wearing process on parts that are already starting to go. Other options could be to put a stainless steel exhaust on the s5 which will give you a better engine note plus each silencer you remove improves the way the exhaust gasses leave the vehicle, this can increase power slightly but we're talking 5-10bhp at best. People mainly do it to improve the sound ;) obviously you can change the turbos, camps etc etc but then your talking serious money! Hope iv helped cheers steve
