Radio is known issue. And theres currently no fix. But I'd recommend you speak to Audi to see if there's an update etc.

I think there's limited options. You might be better with a dash or windscreen mounted one.

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be turbo issue. But white smoke could be head gasket but I'm guessing

You might find the 3 door and convertible door is longer than the 5 door so I'm doubtful the armrest would fit

Could there be an issue with the handle? I know older Audi's can suffer from a similar issue

3.0tdi is a good engine. Look out for timing chain rattle and the injectors can have issues. There's also the 2.7tdi in the c6 you could consider which is similar to the 3.0tdi. Check service history. Also have a look at YouTube buyers guides.

Have you don't a diagnostic check? It could be an imobiliser issue or fuel pump issue.

Id recommend you contact an auto locksmith.

The batteries if they go wrong can cost up to 8-10k at least I believe.

Ah right. It might be worth getting it assessed by an auto electrican

If you've bought it on finance you could speak to the finance company, explain your case and see if you can get it classed not fit for purpose

Yea it has had a detrimental effect on forums. Even though finding historical content is easier on forums as it's often picked up in search engines. This isn't the same for Facebook I find. Just like Facebook I find forums have a lot of members who ask a question, get answer then never get back.

They wouldn't do a diagnostic check as part of the health check. What is the tyre condition?

No evidence as such other than what I've been reading on forums and Facebook etc. All petrol and diesel car prices are going to increase in value as manufacturers start winding down production of petrol and diesel cars. Jaguar a case in point. They're reducing their new car lineup for next year for 3 electric vehicles only.

Speaking from someone who has a high mileage Audi, my engine nhas just let go at 344k. I'm second owner and car is 21 years old. Bought by my dad new. Thorough servicing is key. Mine was over serviced. It's mainly electrical gremlins that start affecting older Audi's in my opinion.
