It features like that you'll need to decide whether you want them or will get a benefit from them. I think partly the reason I suspect is because the q2 was pulled from production quite quickly. I don't think it was as popular was Audi would have liked.
  2. nice project 👍 Would it not be worth fitting wider wheels rather than spacers?
  3. Is it smoking on start up? I ask as mine was (before I blew it up) and I had a suspicion it was the injector seals that had failed. No fault codes and she ran fine.
  4. Hi Dan unfortunately not. Audi will want £600ish to do it. You could speak to a retrofitter like autologics or Audi retrofits but I suspect it'll be around the same price.
  5. I think so, it's done pretty well. And it'll live again 🙂
  6. It is major. Crank gone, turbo gone etc. So full rebuild time. It has covered 344k, so full overhaul is due to be fair. Should then last another 300k hopefully

You're most welcome. I'd recommend you drive both to see which you prefer. What spec are you looking at for both models? S line spec is the nicest. And best equipped. If technology is important to you then tech pack is worth considering as it's an extra and the cockpit feature is also an extra (assuming it was available on the A3).
  8. I guess it depends how handy you are with the spanners. As I personally would always leave it to a professional. Have you done a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  9. This YouTube video should help as it should be similar 🙂
  10. Nice one 🙂 By the time I'm.fubished mine will have had new internals in the engine, new turbo and new injectors at least.
  11. My friend and fellow member Jack has one. Watch for water in the boot. Issues with the amplifier. Make sure all electrical items work. Check to see if Quattro system has been serviced and tyres have even tread on the same axle. Get one with as much service history as possible as people do like to drive them hard. Check YouTube buyers guides. FYI mpg not great on them.
  12. I'd recommend you get it booked in at Audi to check to see if there are any issues with the battery
  13. I would get this booked into Audi as it sounds like there's a battery drain on it. It shouldn't have gone flat in 2 weeks in my opinion

I'd recommend you speak to the motoring ombudsman. Also you might be covered under consumer law: Your consumer rights within six months If a product develops a fault within the first six months after purchase, it’s assumed it has been there since the time of purchase. This means it’s up to the retailer to prove it wasn’t there when you bought it. If a repair or replacement has failed, you have the right to reject the goods for a full refund or price reduction. https://www.moneyhelper.org.uk/en/getting-help-and-advice/consumer-rights/consumer-rights-what-you-need-to-know

I personally don't think it would as SUVs are very popular. Baring in mind the current projections is that petrol and diesel cars are going to sky rocket in price as manufacturers wind down production of petrol and diesel cars. Regarding mmi, if sat back is important make sure you get one with it as it's an expensive retrofit (£600ish)
  16. My first port of call is eBay. Even international sellers in some cases depending on the part.
  17. I'd recommend speaking to the tuner who did the work to see what they recommend
  18. I highly doubt it as I'm sure they've outlawed that function haven't they?

Engine wise it'll depend on what kind of mileage you do. And whether or not you want to be raised up?
  20. If you're using Waze then you're using a better system that's in real time compared to the satnav which will be more out of date.
  21. Nothing done to my A6 really. Just research still regarding its rebuild. Currently researching turbos. Done a great job on yours.
  22. Think they're defined as door seals. The door blades are metal and on the outside. Mainly found on older A6 c5 for example
  23. Thank you for the recommendation 😊
