  1. If it's timing belt then I'd say it'll be due soon. Service history is key. Make sure all electrical items work and if it has air suspension make sure that's working as it should.
  2. Keep us posted on how you get on. Sounds like car isn't fit for purpose
  3. I'd be doubtful on the 25 week lead time in my opinion. Most lead times are going over their estimates regardless of spec and model.
  4. Wowzers!
  5. Definitely could be a windscreen? It's also near the roof gutters too...
  6. Tyres are the first thing to look at. Brand, tread depth etc. Is the quattro system working as it should?
  7. Has it always been graded out? Or just happened?
  8. Has it been bumped? If it's snapped a bodyshop night be able to plastic weld a bracket?.
  9. Steve and Gareth, pub trivia I believe seatbelt warning won't sound when cars in reverse as it's not a legal requirement to wear a seatbelt when reversing 🤔
  10. Try your battery first. A failing battery can cause all sorts of electrical issues.
  11. Glad you got sorted. If you're needing c5 parts there's a good parts dealer in Peterborough on Facebook. The guys name is julius and he's a top bloke. Had numerous c5 bits from him.
  12. You could try a head unit reset. But I'd suspect there's something stuck or the sensor to indicate there's something stuck has failed. Am I right in thinking the cd player is in the glovebox? If so it might just be easier to source a second hand unit off eBay
  13. Sorry for the delayed reply. Could this be a dpf issue?
  14. Your friend is correct. Start stop is quite intelligent, if the system thinks there a chance the car won't turn back on if it were to stop due to battery strength then it won't run the risk of turning off.

As I say I'd recommend you contact the motoring ombudsman. If you can I'd recommend you try and get it assessed by at least one other Audi dealer that's not under the same franchise as tour current one. Or alternatively an independent ev specialist
  18. Brembo and ebc do I believe and well trusted.
  19. This all depends on spec, engine, gearbox, service history, condition, colour etc. Please post some pics and we'll help where we can 🙂
  20. How old is the battery? I'd definitely look ok at getting this changed if it's more than 5-7 years old. I'd also recommend speaking to an auto electrican
  21. Now that's cool. Never seen the work being done before.
  22. I find the aftermarket ones that are tailored to the car can be just as good.

No probs at all, I find car buying is always a difficult process. Regarding cazoo and similar sites I think they offer to bring the car to you. However I did hear stories of them selling crash damaged cars from a trusted source. I'd always recommend looking at main dealer. When ever I compared them to private companies such as available car etc they were often no cheaper than main dealer prices. Looks a nice car, but recommend you compare it to those offered by main dealer.
