  1. Work continues on the 2024 Audi A4 Avant as spy photographers have snapped another prototype undergoing testing. Dressed in traditional swirly camouflage, the redesigned wagon sports a new front end that features a slimmer grille with three-dimensional honeycomb mesh inserts. It resides above a trapezoidal intake, which features horizontal bars as well as a pronounced sensor unit. Elsewhere, we can see an angular bumper that helps to channel air into a set of vertical side intakes. Above are evolutionary headlights, which are slightly slimmer and more rounded than their predecessors. Moving further back, we can see a streamlined body that features an angular shoulder line and an upward sweeping beltline. They’re joined by minimalist door handles and a gently sloping roof. Don’t expect any surprises towards the rear end, where the only highlight might possibly be the new LED taillights, with the test car here using a set of temporary units instead. The rear window appears to be slightly more rakish too. We can also see a new bumper with vertical reflectors. Spy photographers haven’t gotten a look inside yet, but the cabin will presumably follow in the footsteps of recent models such as the A3 and Q4 e-tron. As a result, we can likely expect an edgier design that puts a greater emphasis on technology. We also wouldn’t be surprised to find a new steering wheel, a minimalist shifter, and modern switchgear. Specifications remain a mystery, but the car is expected to ride on an updated version of the current MLB platform. Reports have also suggested we can expect an assortment of powertrains including petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid options. Little is known about them, but rumors have suggested the company’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder may offer improved performance as well as better throttle response at low speeds. Unfortunately, we have a wait ahead of us as the redesigned A4 Avant isn’t expected to be unveiled until next year. https://www.carscoops.com/2022/04/2024-audi-a4-avant-spied-flaunting-a-more-streamlined-look/
  2. Thank you. I was thinking a company could take moulds from wings that had been all aligned up on my A6. I know it'll cost more but thinking of the car in the long term. Plus I'm hoping the fibreglass manufacturing process has improved since the 70s and 80s.
  3. I've just found this link: https://www.wheelsjoint.com/wireless-apple-carplay-on-audi-a6-how-to-connect/ And this should help: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-c8-platform-discussion-229/usb-c-ports-3015827/
  4. Glad you got it all working 😊
  5. Hey Gareth the rust is round the arch rim. Common on VAG cars of the era as I'm sure you know. I could easily fit new metal wings but as I'm never going to sell the car I was thinking of having some made to help lower repair/replacement costs in the future. It aves me buying new wings every 6 years. Kind Regards Steve
  6. Definitely. Especially when you run an Audi as old as mine lol.
  7. Can't seem to get an answer either. On the petrols there's two one at the top of rad and one at the back of the engine. If you have two one will be where I showed you on that pic and the other bear the rad would be my guess. My advice would be for you just to ring a parts department, give them your vin and they'll be able to sort you out with the parts. Otherwise you're running the risk of getting the wrong parts. Or speak to Audi. Here's the info on two sensors: "There are two temperature sensors in some vehicles, one to send information from the engine system to the control unit and another from the control unit to the dashboard. The device follows the principle of dependence of potential difference in temperature."
  8. Has anyone had any experience with fibreglass wings? I'm considering having some made for my a6 as Im sick of the front wings rusting. I know this was a common thing in the 70s/80s when cars rusted faster just seeing if anyone can recommend any companies too. Thank you 🙂
  9. Worth a shot. I'd also recommend a diagnostic check.
  10. Fantastic news! Keep us posted in how you get on with it 🙂
  11. What spec is yours? If it's an se or similar then fitting s line suspension should lower it my 20mm if I remember correctly as s line suspension is shorter and stuff than non s line suspension. The next drip you can go is to 30 or 35mm with aftermarket kits.
  12. I believe it's voicemails. If you type in your voicemail number it should work I believe.
  13. If you've bought this with 30 days from a dealer then I'd be returning it pronto as you have 30 days to get a full refund. This link might help: https://www.700r4transmissionhq.com/audi-q5-blue-exhaust-smoke/
  14. Glad you got sorted! The slow drip ones are the worst!
  15. Glad this forum helped you 🙂
  16. I'd recommend you go genuine Audi where you can. I have sach rear shocks on my A6 which are ok. If you're wanting ban upgrade you can look at bilstein kit.
  17. Yep sounds like a main dealer trip. Could it be to do with the light sensor or headlight switch draining the battery I wonder?
  18. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the Q7 is a lovely car as long as you keep up to date with all maintenance and sort the niggles.
  19. If.the car is experiencing problems just run it on e5. I run a classic car on e5 as E10 it had an erratic idle. Please bare in mind E10 corrodes the rubber fuel lines faster thus running the risk of fuel leaks in the fuel bay and potential fire. In theory most 2011 on cars can run on it but if your cars having issues it's definitely not worth the risk.
  20. Getting a bag specialist to check is a good idea.
  21. I'd strongly recommend you drive the car at a dealer. But it does sound a good spec
  22. I sure it'll come in useful for multiple people!
  23. Sounds like that's what it.us.tgen as I know Audi have had to do various key updates on mmi etc
  24. If there's definitely no leak then I'd think there is an issues with the pump or modules.
  25. So glad you got sorted in the end 🙂
