  1. I'd have to agree and say it's a sensor if the cars not loosing coolant or actually over heating. It might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out to see if any fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
  2. Hi Jon welcome to the forum 🙂 I'll add you to the list for Beaulieu, and keep checking the show pages as they'll be more once dates and times have been confirmed by organisers 🙂
  3. Yep, I believe thats all you do 🙂
  4. Hi Becky, you can get them from Audi but I believe you can get them off ebay but make sure you look at the sellers feedback etc. Cheers Steve
  5. Welcome to the forum Adam, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Here's a YouTube video which might help: i can't really comment on the price as I'm not sure what spec the car is or what extras it's got. My advice would be to compare it to others found on Auto trader or ebay. Cheers Steve

    oil issue

Hi Richard, my key question is your a5 consuming oil at an alarming rate? If the answer is yes and you have a warranty or recently bought it from a garage my advice would be to take it back to be assessed. Cheers Steve
  7. My advice would be to speak to your local Audi dealer. I suspect that as a worse case scenario you could damage the Quattro system if you haven't followed the manuals advice. Cheers Steve
  8. I would have thought that you would have had a year warranty on the recall parts. The fact the unit has failed for the recall defect sounds very dodgy and could suggest the recall is in affective. Definitely fight them on it. You should get age related discount as the car is from.2008. might be worth you speaking to Audi customer services and make a complaint. Cheers Steve
  9. Hi Craig the leak should be covered under your warranty depending on your mileage and whether or not the leak has been caused by damage from a crash or otherwise. Cheers Steve
  10. Hi Myles theres quite a few touch screen radios on the market now which incorporate apple car play or Android equivalent. This then allows you to use your phone satnav through them. Again you get what you pay for and I think good ones are around £300. Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Marcus, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 watch out for the 2.0 petrol versions as some have serious oil consumption issues and it's a common problem. Here's a YouTube video which might help: Cheers Steve
  12. Glad it's still under warranty and hopefully it won't be anything too serious. I'd be very surprised if it's the battery bas the car is probably not even 4 years old. Cheers Steve
  13. Glad you're pleased with your rs3 Ferhan, sorry you couldn't get an rs4 though. Why are they not sold in your country? Cheers Steve
  14. Hi Hugh, as the car is mainly used for short journeys I'm wondering if the dpf is clogged with soot and as such could account for the start stop not working and reduced mpg. As it's under warranty I'd get it booked into Audi for them to run a diagnostic check and they can do a regeneration on the dpf to clear it out if soot. Cheers Steve
