  4. You're welcome 🙂
  5. It could be one of your undertrays that's broken from it's mountings. I'd be getting this checked asap because if it comes off it could do.more damage to.yoir car or other cars if it comes off. Cheers Steve
  6. My first port of call would be to check the fluid level in the power steering as well as checking tyre pressures. You've not hit a pot hole or something like that? I ask as it could have knocked the tracking out slightly despite it driving fine. Cheers Steve

  11. Welcome to the forum Kerry, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 when I worked at Volkswagen I found that the egr and egr cooler would be done together bas a matter of course as the last thing we wanted as an EML light to stay on. I'm surprised you weren't offered to have them done together when when you had the egr done. cheers Steve
  12. Hi Yasin, When I had a similar issue with my central locking I had an auto electrician have a look and diagnosed the fault to the drivers door locking mechanism. It cost me £120 to fix. Obviously if it's not this then it could be the central locking module which will be a lot more to replace. In which case it might be worth you getting a diagnostic check carried out to see if any fault codes flag up. With regard to your second issue, what kind of noise is it? If it's a whine then it could be the powers steering pulley or pump. But in my opinion the first thing to check is the power steering fluid. If it's low then there could be a leak in the system. Cheers Steve
  13. I know what that's like Sean! It's so uncomfortable to wear stabvests etc in this heat!

  18. I completely agree with Gareth on this, I'd be taking it back to the dealer for a refund as it shouldn't be consuming that much oil and its a known fault on the TFSI engines. Cheers Steve
