  1. Very nice :) it's great to personalise them :)
  2. Welcome to the forum Jack :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I can confirm they are genuine a3 wheels. They were fitted to the s3 model I believe. To confirm they are genuine there should be an Audi logo stamped into the wheel, as well as a part number. Hope Ive helped :) Cheers Steve
  3. Hey Neil, welcome :) Great looking a4 you have there! Cheers Steve :)

  5. You're welcome, Glad we could help :) Merry Christmas to you too :)
  6. Wow! People have no clue. My insurance company valued mine at £1500 recently! Owning a high miler gets respect especially as mine was owned by my dad from new. It does get expensive though, as parts wear out, but I live it and wouldn't have it any other way :) Glad youve chosen to offer it for sale on here :) if however you do decide to keep it, then you would be more than welcome to display it at up and coming shows with us on our club displays :) Cheers Steve
  7. You're welcome :) I have to say I've never seen another 1.9tdi with that spec! Someone really went to town with the options list! A really rare car! It definitely looks looked after and 150k is nothing for this engine, especially as it's been well maintained. My a6 has the 2.5tdi engine with full history which has done 328k and has never been rebuilt. Merry Christmas :) Steve
  8. I don't think the petrol ones will change it much. I'm with the others on this and a backbox delete, it won't make it too loud either. IV found this video on YouTube which has a a4 diesel with the backbox delete: Hope it's useful :) Cheers, and merry Christmas :) Steve
  9. Hey Ben, sorry to hear your selling this lovely a4. That is a cracking spec in my opinion! I think you should keep it, but I understand your reasoning for selling. Cheers Steve
  10. Lol so true!! My brother wanted to play christmas Monopoly but I had to draw the line as I had no brain power lol 😂
  11. Merry Christmas Jay, Here is a wheel guide I found a while ago. Hope it helps :) Bear in mind the bigger the wheels the harder you make the ride. Cheers Steve

  18. To those owners who have experienced issues. Please see this recent Audi recall which relates to faulty wiring connectors which can cause the risk of fire on a4, a5 and Q5 models. Audi are recalling 1.27 cars world wide. Here's the link: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/audi-recalls-127-million-cars-worldwide Hope it's useful. Cheers Steve
  19. Audi are recalling a4, a5 and 5 models built between April 2011 and may 2015 due to a electrical connector fault which can cause a thermal overload and burning smell or even a fire. More info here: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/audi-recalls-127-million-cars-worldwide Hope this info.is useful. Cheers Steve

  21. Hi Ian, welcome to the forum. Key thing is service history. Ideally this should be full and any 2011 car your looking at is probably due a cambelt and water pump change. Black edition is a good spec but once again make sure everything works as it should. In terms of gearbox, if it's auto make sure the gear changes are smooth in both manual and auto as it can be expensive to fix if it breaks. If you were looking at Quattro fitted vehicle make sure that it works properly as the system can be sensitive even uneven Tyre wear can potentially damage it. It's probably wise to get an independent inspection carried out. Companies such as the AA and RAC offer this service. If the seller is reluctant or refuses then you have to wonder if they or the car has something to hide! I've found this video on YouTube that may be of some use: Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
