  6. It'll.be a lot different on here then! There's a nice bunch of people on hear :) we don't mind a laugh, but don't stand for any abuse :) I loved my dad's 300tdi, it was only standard though. Great vehicles :) what other mods have you on it? I've attached a couple of pics of my dad's old Landy :) Yea the 6 CD change is great! No going in the boot ;) it means you'll have the symphony radio system :) Cheers Steve

  8. Hi Chris, when my a6 suffered from a similar issue it had to be rewired for the headlight. halfords should be able to check the electrical system.for you :) Cheers Steve

  17. Hi Andy, sorry for the delayed reply. I've never heard of removing the camshaft to replace a head gasket. The purpose of the gasket is to run around the edge of the engine and head. I wonder if they have removed the cam incorrectly in the process in order to cause the damage.   18. Hmm, I fully understand why your suspicious of the garage! If you had of driven over something then I would argue tracking would be out, buckled wheel, broken suspension components, broken under tray etc, etc. I would like to think that you would get some factory (manufacturer) good will as it's a part that shouldn't have gone wrong in my opinion. That's what we used to get customers when I worked at a Volkswagen service department. Cheers Steve
