  1. Welcome to the forum Stuart, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Is your rs4 manual or auto? Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Alasdair, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You could definitely try and buy an SD card off eBay and try it. If that fails then your best bet is Audi I'm affraid. Cheers Steve
  3. Welcome to the forum Thomas, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I've watched/listened to the video more than once and can't point put the noise you are referring to. Sorry. Could you elaborate on the noise? Cheers Steve
  4. The lambda sensor monitors the oxygen in the emissions and relays this info back to the ecu and thus it helps with the running of the engine. Normally when a lambda sensor fails you'll find that the car may loose power, go into limp mode or just have an engine management light on the dash. The engine management light on the dash would also be an MOT failure on the new rules. I'm unsure about the down pipe to be honest but I suspect it's a single pipe. Cheers Steve
  5. Hi Karen, It could be a loose wire as your garage has stated or in a worse case it could be the instrument cluster. My advice would be to get a auto electrician have a look to see if there is a loose wire or faulty earth. Or alternatively you could get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
  6. Here's a new one. The clue is that it's a 2018 childrens film.
  7. I've never heard of this tv series Paul but I'll have to take a look :) There are some really good tv series on netflix but I find now tv better for films.

    DPF

I worked in a Volkswagen service department and can confirm the dpf can fail at as little as 50k if you are doing short drives. You should do a motorway drive at least once a week for a dpf regeneration to take place. To be fair it's the same with the egr and egr cooler too.
  9. Have to agree Gareth. This is what the club is all about :)
  10. I'll add you to the list Jess :)
  11. And another one...
  12. With the history of the car it sounds absolutely fine to remap and £250 is a fair prince in my opinion. Cheers Steve
  13. Don't blame you! My family have owned my 2002 a6 from new! 16 years is a long time lol
  14. I bet! It's definitely a collectors piece :)
  15. Lol I knew it would be too easy!
  16. I'm not surprised you fell in love! The colour is gorgeous and sets the car off perfectly :) plus you've got a great spec as well!
  17. I don't normally revive an old thread but just look at these trailers! And here's a link to the build thread for Audi sport.net BBQ trailer: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/audi-sport-net-new-bbq-build-thread.196398/ Enjoy! Cheers :) Steve
  18. Correct Paul!! I thought it was too easy! Here's another easy one!
  19. Hi Andrew, A remap is a good idea to gain extra power and torque and it's worth shopping around to see he will offer the best increase for the best value for money. It is important that the car is in good health prior to a remap as it could cause you problems later on. Also I would advise against a dpf delete as the the new Mot rules which come our in may are focusing more on dpf deletes and other emission related matters. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  20. That's very good of you Stuart! Top man! :)
  21. Welcome to the forum Michael, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You'll have a lambda sensor on the exhaust system to help the car monitor the emissions. This could be affected if you have a decat. I see you live in Ireland and I'm assuming you live in the republic of Ireland in which case this won't apply, but..... If you live in the UK there are now stricter mot regulations regarding emissions which come into force in May. Cheers Steve
  22. You 3 are brilliant! I just need one for one of the side windows. I can't have one on one side and not the other lol 😂
