  1. Looks lovely Steve ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. Welcome to the forum Bob, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ if it were me I'd be ringing round the local Audi garages to try and get your car in.soober if possible. I would feel uneasy driving it if the service is failing. cheers Steve
  3. Welcome to the forum and Sam, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ my advice to your first question is to ring Audi to see if your car is one that's affected and to see if Audi did any recalls. And then see if your car has or has not had a recall if applicable. whsts the service history like on your a4? in terms if the amp, my advice would be to wait until you've upgraded your head unit before adding sub and amps etc. Better to do it all together in my opinion. cheers Steve
  4. Hi Nathaniel, My advice would be to get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. This should cost you around ยฃ60. Just out of curiosity what caused you to brake? Did you hit anything in the road in a pot hole etc? Cheers Steve
  5. Welcome to the forum Geoff, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ have you had a diagnostic check carried out at all? cheers Steve
  6. You're welcome, it's definitely an expensive job!
  7. Welcome to the forum Keith, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ good choice of a6 model you've gone.for ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
  8. It could be. I'd definitely get the garage to look though
  9. Welcome to the forum Zane, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ what kit car are you building? I do love kit cars ๐Ÿ™‚ truthfully id go the Ford option as parts will cheaper. cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ the clusters should be the same and the engine doesn't affect the lights ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Ryan, you'll find the members on here are friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ in some ways I'd say yes it could be those components but I'm wondering if it could just be a sensor of some sort. cheers Steve
  12. Welcome to the forum Tom, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ youll.need to budget about ยฃ900 for the job. You can by reconditioned genuine units or buy a new genuine one. I.say this as the aftermarket ones can be hit or miss. What ever you buy, try and get one with a decent warranty. cheers Steve
  13. Welcome to the forum Sam, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ glad you're pleased with your a4 ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
  14. That's not bad! To be fair.id dread to think how it would have turned.out.if I'd done it! Cheers Steve
  15. That was my thought too Paul! For me the clever bit about this boat is the use of the soft top. Let's face it, you don't see many sports boats with a roof that can be pulled up in case it rains. Think boars such as those from Fletcher could benefit from a convertible roof in similar design to a car convertible roof. Cheers Steve
  16. That looks brilliant Paul! Can't believe it was only ยฃ17! Cheers Steve
  17. Welcome to the forum Bryan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ my advice would be to get an auto electrician to have a look as I'm unsure if a diagnostic check would throw up any fault codes. does it do it on every drive? cheers Steve
  18. If it's go warranty then it's worth taking it back to the dealer even if it is a pain. Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Cal, you'll find the members on here are friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ its a very lovely looking a5 ๐Ÿ™‚ in terms of additions in wonder whether it's got some form of body kit already. I.e front splitter and sideskirts. The mods that you have planned sounds good ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Damian, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ id recommend be a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up or get an auto electrician to have a look as it could be anything from.the locking mechanism through to the central locking module. cheers Steve
  21. Glad you're not fitting dunlops Mike and hope the Continentals are better ๐Ÿ™‚ definitely bank the cheque first before responding to them ๐Ÿ˜‰ but it is bad form they've not even signed the letter. cheers Steve
  22. Glad you got the egr sorted Alex. They seem to be a common problem on modern VAG cars. Cheers Steve
  23. Welcome to the forum Dan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ nice looking a3 you have there ๐Ÿ™‚ youd be better.off fitting brighter bulbs rather than headlights as you'll be looking at fitting Xenon headlights which are not a straight swap. cheers Steve
  24. Here is a new one! A boat yard in the Netherlands called autoboot has built a boat around an Audi A4 convertible. Here is the link for more info: http://www.boatmaginternational.com/9176-audi-a4-convertible-turned-into-cruising-boat/ https://www.autoboot.eu I think it looks good but too expensive in my opinion. Cheers Steve
