  5. Have they tried eBay including international sellers?
  6. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could it be an imobiliser issue?
  7. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  8. Keep us posted on how you get on with an auto electrician
  9. It might need to be coded or calibrated to the car.
  10. I get where your coming from as I've got the same issue but with my engine. Been a nightmare. As long as it's the same gearbox type so not based off code if that makes sense (like the same engine has different engine codes) it will physically fit. But it's the coding and the module that might be the problem you choose a different gearbox code. Plus let's not forget gear rations could be slightly different. I can appreciate it's 3x the price, but if you fit a gearbox that's a different code and then the gearbox module needs recoding or replacing, it it doesn't work then it's just wasted money if you see what I mean.
  11. Could be a brake pedal switch. Alternatively get an auto electrician to check the wiring for the system.
  12. Also bare in mind cars made during the pandemic are sometimes lacking kit or gained other bits.
  13. It will have been an extra, most likely via a tech pack. You're best contacting the respective dealer regarding if the car has it once you've found one you're interested in.
  14. Glad it's been helpful 🙂
  15. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Or get an auto electrician to check the power.
  16. Keep us posted on how you get on
  17. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Not sure if it'll work. If it can it'll need coding to the car
  18. Well if they're covering half the bill that's a good thing.
  19. I do t think there's a simple way to repair it. The best two options is to replace the trim or wrap it.
  20. Yep in theory. The roof rails will be bolted on though
  21. Have you looked on eBay?
  22. Genuine one will be better quality. £1000+ is fairly common. You could get a remap to get the dpf map out but bare in mind this can cause the engine internal temps to run hotter which runs the risk of causing other damage into the engine.
  23. If you've bought this within the last 30 days then it's the dealer who sold the car responsibility to fix it FOC as you're entitled to a full refund In the first 30 days after sale. As technically the car isn't fit for purpose. Audi sounds like they're spot on with diagnosis but you could always get a second opinion. The other reason it'd struggle to select a great could be because of a warn gear linkage
  24. Has a search on eBay and these ones popped up: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404517437274?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=mhcvke1eq4s&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196432026136?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Kzw8DuHOTlu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/375441884747?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=geiijcierze&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Can't say I've got any experience with any of them though
