I wonder if this is a fault with the instrument cluster. You can send it off for an assessment and repair. Repairs usually are around £200-£300

No you should be able to I think. I think it'll depend if it has canbus which was first introduced either in 2003 or 2004. My A6 is pre canbus so it's slightly harder due to the system not being as complex as later ones. But either way a competent mechanic should be able to diagnose it.

I have been searching for a while trying to find the paint code for my alloys on A4 B9 (picture below), can anyone point me in the right direction where to find the paint code? Thanks Mark

This will depend on spec but there were changes to the headlights, rear lights and safety systems

Hi MiguelP, I would state to the dealer that it must be rectified before your extended warranty expires. Mine must have been an electrical ‘glitch’ because the only thing Audi Oldham did was to plug it into the diagnostic. Hope you get it resolved. Regards, Andrew

I was hoping to find an amiable car upholstery firm that might do the fitting, but so far it's a no! Mainly because they have never done this type of repair.

To add to Steve Q's reply, if a new battery is needed ensure you get it coded to the car. -
Welcome Andrew and thanks for joining. By your description of ‘a groove wearing ..’ would suggest some component is touching the tyres at the site of the groove - either suspension related, or a steering/ suspension component, rather than an alignment issue. You should be able to determine where by turning the wheels on to full lock and looking under the car. However, as Steve says, it would be well worth you getting the car assessed at a trusted local tyre retailer. Regards, Gareth.

Hi, I never bothered when I found it how much of the dash had to come out. I just use the max windscreen button for the few times a year the flap motor gets it wrong, always seems to be on the warmest days.

My 3.2 dsg is a little jerky at about 2krpm, like it's going to stall by over fuelling, the mk5 r32s also have this.

You need to get a loom converter, no cutting of wires at all. I have a non Bose concert and fitted a pioneer MVH-S240DAB. Only thing added was a powered dab antenna, the kit came with a patch lead to enable the use of the rear speakers and subwoofer.

Least yours is easy, my dsg has 2 drain plugs, strange I know.

Yeah it’s all just nuts and bolts at the end of the day!! The actuator only seems to have a threaded nut to set it so I think if I could find the tolerance or measurement online it’s not too tricky. There were no issues with the oil feed and no leaks. Gaskets were all fine except for the one between the manifold and the EGR so I replaced that one. I’m using an Ancel VD700 to read codes etc but it’s not throwing out any codes. As a side note I’ve driven 300 miles today and it’s not happened so it’s one of those intermittent things. I’ll find it at some point I guess!!
