  2. Can't recommend trees but I'd recommend a full wheel alignment and Speedo recalibration as it could be out more than normal.
  3. I'd suspect that the bag isn't inflating and changing it is the only option.
  4. Sorry this wasn't answered. Your probs best transferring any door modules etc from your current car so it doesn't throw any fault codes etc. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  5. Glad we've helped, please keep us posted on how you get on once you've picked it up 🙂 Changing the glass with genuine tinted glass would be costly. Especially the side boot windows as these are bonded into the car body. I paid £120 (very good price) for one to be replaced after someone smashed one of mine. Door windows are more straightforward to change. Not sure about the boot window, but I believe it's bonded in also.

  9. Gary. You have asked several questions over the past few months. We would appreciate some feedback to indicate what success you have had in solving your problems. Perhaps even some thanks if we have helped?
  10. Hi for your ignition controlled wire find a fuse thats 10 amps or under the 5 amp auxiliary heater fuse is a good one if its fitted, don't use any 10 amp fuse that guard anything like wipers or electric steering and make sure the piggy back spur has the camera fuse, two and a half amp in the top position, trying to find a permanent live is a nightmare so you may have to resort to running a permanent live from the battery with a fused link and routing it through one of the rubber loom boots on the bulkhead to get the wire into the cabin. 11. Hey all, current got a 2018 audi a6 Quattro with software version RMC_EU_P16342. To be honest, car have decent spec but this software is real let down. Nav SD version is also 2017. Can anyone advise how I can upgrade? Ideally I want to use apple CarPlay and have decent upgraded .maps. Don’t want to start retro fitting screens etc. I have a couple of videos on YouTube about purchasing sd card and downloading another version but just to make sure I am doing the right thing. That’s why thought I should ask u guys 👍🏻. Advice welcome please, thanks
  12. I’m looking to buy an Audi A5 3.0L diesel sportback (5 door) (245hp) S-tronic (S-line or Black Edition). Preferably in black with decent mileage (up to 120k) year 2012-onwards.
  13. Thanks for the reply. That’s interesting alright, I wouldn’t have considered that being an issue either. Are you planning to take a risk with it and see if it fits?
  14. Thanks Cent! That is reassuring - I heard some reports of 37 mpg for long motorway trips…which would defeat the point! I am mainly hanging on for the upgraded option packs like heads up display (I borrowed a BMW with it and loved it) which is currently offered with the standard engines. It would be nice if the PU was also an upgraded…but we will see. Will let you know as soon as I find anything out, I’m on a waiting list to be sent the details as soon as they become available.
  15. Hi , I have 2 krys and both don't work for opening the boot

  17. My settings are already on the least sensitive. Still happens. Doesn’t real worry me though. I’m keeping it into its fourth year now as I quite like it and nothing within a reasonable price that is compatible came up. I’ve got exactly 12 months to plan what’s next…
  18. Did you find out what it was mine just done exactly the same now. Please let me know.
  19. I'd recommend you speak to other remappers such as revo, darkside developments, Celtic tuning as example.
  20. Speaking from an owner from a similar aged Audi (A6 C5) Interior trim is hard to come by and some external trim is becoming short supply. Service history is key and make sure there's no smell of damp ect of water ingress. Check footwells for damp carpets. Make sure all electronic items work as they can be expensive to change.
  21. My 550i had almost every option aside from night vision, it was quite a beast - but it was an SE and silver and looked to everyone like a 525i which appealed to me. I bought it from a dealer 9 years ago for a scarcely believable £7500, it was right at the time when almost everyone was ditching petrol for diesel and there was no market for a v8 estate. Funny you should mention “the car Bangle spannered” because I do remember that very well - but I have to say the car has really grown into its looks and I am quite a fan. As you say - most of them now are either leggy with no service history or very expensive for what they are. 530i specs also compare unfavourably in every respect to the 3.0 TFSI and as I read more about that engine I became increasingly interested - plus having never owned an Audi or a supercharged car I thought it was about time! I haven’t even seen in the metal or driven the car I’ve bought yet - the 3.0 TFSI A6 Avant seems just as rare as a 550i touring, hence I looked far afield, so the drive home on Wednesday is something I’m looking forward to - having said that, it’s 200 miles of m4 so I’m not really expecting many thrills. I will report back and if I go to Phantom Tuning I will let you know how I get on there!
  22. WhatsApp Video 2024-04-27 at 15.38.25_b6102a28 (online-video-cutter.com) (1).mp4 Well apparently the sound is is coming out of my 2013 A3 Howdy, Audi Folks I'm looking for help Someone came to view my Audi A3 to buy today, but the engine sound put them off. 😭 I'll take it Monday to see if I can get it diagnosed. But just wondering if anybody here would have any idea what this clicking noise is when the engine is revved? Or is it normal? attached is a video of the engine running Thank you Helena Audi A3 1.6 TDI SE Sportback Diesel Manual
  23. No blue smoke and it's been in the shop several times they told me it was the timing chain got it fixed then a oil sensor got it fixed and the light stayed off for 2 weeks back on oil not leaking internally
  24. Hello. My Audi has a "hickup" where the engine cuts out for a split second , it does it only one or twice at around 3.000 RPM, at 4.000 or above it's more frequent and it doesn't happen all the time. Not lights on the dash, nothing shows up on VCDS scan , the oxygen sensor was changed recently as well as the injectors with new o-rings. Any ideas what could it be?
  25. Hi there. Just located a small leak from the front left residual valve. I purchased one from Ebay which was an Audi part and to fit it to the suspension leg requires a 10mm spanner. However the old one, still on the car, doesn't appear to have a nut head to take a socket or spanner to remove. Maybe I'm not looking close enough. Any help or advice much appreciated. Thanks Renato
  26. Yeah I tried with new comma 4 brake fluid and still the same 🤔, i get a slight fluctuation/ flicker on the brake pressure reading from 0.64 to 0.88 when normal however I get a full 120+ when I Press the brake pedal , going to check the wiring around the brakes see if there's a split
  27. Thanks Gareth. No we are only an hour away from the car. I will have a look on google for an Audi sales team in that area. many thanks again. fiona.
  28. I've just recently bought a new A4 Avant and plan to keep it long term so I decided to go for the pricier foam moulding under the wheel. It features cut-outs to store the tools that come with the car. I also bought the same spare from the Wheel Shop and a scissor jack. The scissor jack lives in the other compartment along with an extendable wheel brace that I've had in every car I've owned since about 1994, disposable gloves and a black bin liner to put the wheel I would need to take off in the event of a puncture to stop everything getting filthy in the boot. It's not until you see how little space there between the top of the batteries and the boot cover that make you understand why there are so many threads on the various Audi forums questioning if you can actually fit a spare in the boot or not 😊
