  1. Welcome to AOC Any photos of the allroad? Out of interest - what aspects of the MG did you prefer to your current Audi?
  2. At least you know what it is now... Doesn't sound that easy though - see this from a VW forum: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5499264-01274-Air-Flow-Flap-Positioning-Motor-(V71)-014-Defective
  3. Strange - what about the fuel pump or fuel pump relay?
  4. And does it ALWAYS start if you leave the key in for 5 seconds? Is this on ignition?
  5. Do the fans work (with air con off) while in normal non recirculation mode?
  6. Hi Dale, welcome! Nice looking Audi! I noticed you have an S4 badge on the back but your profile say 2.0TDI - which one is it?
  7. Definitely sounds like it could be the battery then - are you planning on replacing it soon?
  8. Don't have a Q7 tech manual unfortunately. That's the limit for an OE equivalent standard disc and I've read in loads of places it should be 2mm. Can't give you anything 100% concrete other than that but hopefully that will be enough for you to go on!
  9. Hi Danny, perhaps you could post up a short video so we can hear the noise? Is it definitely coming from the engine/gearbox?
  10. Oh dear that's the best service at all Did you get the OK with them to go elsewhere prior to doing it?
  11. What was that like out of interest?
  12. I take it you're waiting for the glow plug light to go out?
  13. Qasim, unfortunately Audi probably won't touch yours now as it had the work done privately. This is usually the same with most manufacturers - if anyone else has touched it then it gives them a great excuse not to do anything about it
  14. Hi Tony, The screw on aerial should be easy to locate from any motor parts/accessories store or online maximum £5 - that is assuming the base is still there? With the gear knob perhaps they only sell them as the whole thing? Maybe that's easier to locate? Aside from that, get yourself down your local breaker's yard as I'm sure they will have a few old A3s you can remove one from?
  15. Let us know how you get on Stanley
  16. Any news David?
  17. Yes you might be right on that one Mat - as you say it seems unlikely they will tell you that they are below the limit after a safety check as it wouldn't make them look too good! Let us know what they say
  18. Hi David, congratulations on the purchase! Looking forward to some photos and initial impressions when you collect I'm sure you have a few sleepless nights between now and collection!
  19. Well, if you can get a new set of discs out of them then you may as well. Let us know how you get on
  20. Sorry to hear that Rob, doesn't sound like you've had a great time considering you've just purchased the car. At least you made it to the garage though I suppose. Keep us updated when you know what it is...
  21. MPG

James replied to Adeel's topic in Audi A4 (B8) Forum
The car has a 63 litre tank, so assuming you have around 5 litres left at the end you're looking at around £60 for a full tank with fuel prices around 104.9 ish. The car's claimed MPG gives you a theoretical range of around 900 miles out of a tank, but assuming you do mixed driving I would take a little bit off of this anyway.
  22. Hi Jamie, welcome to AOC Any photos of the car?
  23. Personally, I would take your service book anyway just in case. I had a similar situation on a Focus ST I used to own and the dealership had to take a scan of the service book to send to Ford as part of the warranty claim to get it approved.
  24. Hi Katie, thanks for joining up. Can I ask what show the RS3 is required for?
