  6. A diagnostic check is best to see if any fault codes flag up.
  7. Thanks mate, might be looking at a totally different engine now. Just torn between options. Either way it'll live again.

  9. Thanks kev 🙂
  10. I'd recommend you speak to an auto locksmith to sort a key for you.
  11. It's not a standard feature. Think it's included in one of the packs.
  12. Just an update on my research, coming back to the 2ar-fxe Toyota 2.5 na from the rav4. Spoke to a guru about these engines and he said not to worry about the auxiliaries as I can just fit a alternator and water pump from a normal 2ar-fe engine. So that's still an option. The guru said I'd have to mount my current A6 gearbox to it as the Toyota gearbox is transverse. Not ruling out a V8 either, as I've found a narrow body A6 like mine fitted with the 4.2 Audi V8. I'd be looking at the rover V8 3.5 or a lexus v8. I've ruled out the Toyota Hilux diesel (2LT) as they're not as reliable as I thought.
  13. You might need specific car fabric cleaner. It's quite potant stuff adblue.
  14. You'll be looking to spend a lot but I'd recommend you speak to autologics or Audi retrofits
  15. Hope you got it out before it has a chance to stain.
  16. It could be an engine mount, gearbox mount, driveshaft or durl mass flywheel.
  17. Could it be a maf sensor?
  18. What's it doing? Or dare I not ask! I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up 🙂
  19. Nine one! It's good when you bag a bargain
  20. I believe demon tweeks sell them 🙂 https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/performance/exhausts/catalysts-manifolds-downpipes/sports-catalysts/
  21. Has the engine been coded to the ECU etc as I'm wondering if it could be an imobiliser issue?
  22. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Could it be the turbo? If you're loosing coolant then it's got to be going somewhere. Could be a failing expansion tank cap.
  23. It's not easy to source parts I find. Especially with the increase amount of scammers.
