  1. The engine will run on it, most likely slightly rougher. I know this is the case for my 93 fuel injected ford escort. However it's the rubber fuel lines in degrades faster due to the extra ethanol
  2. Diagnostic check is what I'd recommend. It could also be a short in the system.
  3. I can't say on a more modern, electrical controlled car so to speak. But when I had idling and stalling issues on a old Volvo 940 2.3 petrol a few years ago, when I disconnected the MAF it ran better which proved it was a faulty MAF. Which my diagnosis proved correct.
  4. No probs 🙂
  5. So a non factory item. What have they said in the USA? If there's a cure in the USA chances are there's a service bulletin to show the appropriate repair if you can get hold of it.
  6. No probs. Have you got a picture of the button?
  7. Just to add my option too, I believe the rs3 is having a similar problem currently with squealing brakes. Audi haven't seemed to come up with an answer for the rs3 either.
  8. I don't think the headunit will support android auto in my opinion. Your other option is just use Google maps on your phone which will be more accurate anyway.
  9. When was the towbar fitted? And by whom? Definitely worth contacting the towbar fitting company.

    Creek

If it's creeking then could it not be a sign one of the rubber bushes is degrading
  11. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  12. You can. But you might be lucky, as you might be able to move the seat far enough forward or back to have a look and unclip the wire.
  13. Definitely could be a nox sensor
  14. Might be worth checking the pollen filter housing. Has the door dropped slightly?.
  15. No probs 🙂
  16. Could it be an intermittent issue with the MAF sensor?
  17. It might just need a software update. But you'll still have to Psy for the diagnosis fee unfortunately.
  18. I'm sure it's h7 unless xenon lights which they don't look like xenon lights on your car.
  19. You might.find the same button was fitted to.other VAG cars like the golf for example. Worth a thought.
  20. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up regarding the heater motor and controls etc. Also does the engine get up to temperature and stay constant? I ask as a failing thermostat could cause issues.
  21. Its all about making the note nicer. I know when my A6 finally needs a new exhaust I'll definitely be getting a stainless steel one. But then again it makes sense as I'm keeping my A6 for life.
  22. I believe you might find the cat might be protected by the engine undertray. If not you can get cages that go round the cat as well as special paint to help it more identifiable
  23. Powerflow exhaust. My mate and brother had them fitted to their cars. You can choose the exhaust note. Also a remap could be a good idea.
