  1. Glad you're getting it sorted. The egr is a nuisance part on modern diesels that's for sure.

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 It'll have to go to a dealer or an retrofitter like autologics could do it. But expect to pay £600.
  3. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up.
  4. I'd recommend getting it to an auto electrican as they'll be cheaper. Well done for having a go at sorting it though 🙂
  5. I'd might be something you can pay a subscription too. Best bet is to look on Audi connect.
  6. I'd be getting this back to the dealer asap as you have 30 days where you can return the car for a full refund.
  7. Just had all mine done. Along with the glow plug relay. Only 3 of the 6 were working on mine. Also don't get cheap ones. Get bosh or NGK. Bosh are what Audi would fit when car was new. And it's bosh I went with.
  8. I've heard horror stories too from carbon cleaning. In my experience keeping on top of maintenance is what keeps older Audi's going. It's not cheap but keeps mine reliable.
  9. Could definitely be the pump or bunged up washers. I'd check the washers and pipe work first.
  10. I just googled Audi vin decoder. But VAG vin decoder works too.
  11. Feel free to place an ad on this forum, Facebook group or eBay 🙂
  12. You're most welcome ☺️ glad we can help 😊
  13. Welcome to the forum Mark you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the RS4 looks stunning in blue 🙂
  14. You're welcome, glad you got sorted 🙂
  15. Sorry to hear this Tony, thankfully there's a large variety of products available which are often used in the classic car scene. The hardest bit would the carpets as the whole interior has to come out.
  16. For peace of mind on my wife's Jag I get adblue from the main dealer for peace of mind. However any of your local motor factors would be able to supply a suitable adblue.
  17. If you bought it from a dealer then you have 30 days for them to put it right or get a full refund. Also I'd be looking at the antenna first as there's more than 1 fault code.
  18. Just an update on this, I knew my gut was right, only 3 out of 6 of my glow plugs were working! 😮🤦‍♂️ So I've had them changed for new bosh components. On top of that the battery was only working at 55% capacity! I also had the glow plug relay changed for peace of mind, but keeping the old one as a spare on the road trips. Needless to say my A6 is all ready for her adventure this weekend. More to follow in that once I'm back 😉
  19. Mirrors aint cheap these days!
  20. You're welcome 🙂 I hadn't considered an inside seal to be honest 🤦‍♂️ Definitely worth contacting breakers. I'll keep an eye out though.
  21. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  22. No probs 🙂
  23. I feel your pain for sourcing parts for older audis. I'm finding trouble for a few parts for my c5. I've just had a search for you. I'm wondering if it's this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265258736462?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=eegr9222Q2q&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY And the other side: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133511258060?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=grQPZ242R9y&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY The alternative could be to get a rubber seal company to make one using the old one as a mould/blueprint.
