Tour the design laboratory of Audi online
Tour the design laboratory of Audi online with “Insight Audi Design” Experience design development at Audi conveniently from home Use your smartphone, tablet or PC to explore design processes at Audi with the new “Insight Audi Design” live stream. The interactive discovery tour has now been added to the online tours at www.audi.stream. Experienced tour guides present the “Insight Audi Design” live stream from a studio and explain the Audi design philosophy. Using video sequences, they explain how the designers work and show how the team is developing the design language of the future. The guides answer questions in dialogue and construct the roughly 20-minute live stream according to the wishes and interests of the participants. Interested parties can choose a suitable date for “Insight Audi Design” online at www.audi.stream. The interactive guided tours on AudiStream are free of charge; fees may be charged for Internet access, however, depending on the selected provider. The new “Insight Audi Design” live stream starts with presentation in German and an English version will follow. With AudiStream, Audi is the first manufacturer to offer online discovery tours. The “Insight Audi Design” stream complements the “Audi live at the Ingolstadt factory” online tour. This virtual factory tour has been offered since November 2019 and provides insights into selected production sections as well as technical highlights of the brand. article courtesy of automotiveworld.com: https://www.automotiveworld.com/news-releases/tour-the-design-laboratory-of-audi-online-with-insight-audi-design/

Convertible roof
I would look in the boot, behind the rear seats etc. You'd be surprised how many items get dropped and you don't realise it. I remember a case where it was a shoe that had jammed the mechanism. Cheers Steve

2000 A4 alarm
I know that feeling Lol, to be fair I'm 28 and didn't look after my body when I was younger, and I guess even now. Working 6-7 days a week. My back is already shot, along with my neck and in the process of being diagnosed with carpal tunnel. Some of it is due to some serious car accidents haven't helped to be fair. But hey ho we carry on 👍

Convertible roof
The first thing I'd do is check there's nothing blocking the mechanism. I would argue it's not a motor/pump issue if it's doing the same thing when you do it manually. Cheers Steve

Heater problem
If everything mechanical is working in the engine bay as it should then that would suggest the heat controls have potentially failed. It could be a heater blower motor or heater blower resistor. Also looking at similar threads about this topic on the forum suggest it could be a blocked heater matrix. Hope I've helped. Cheers Steve

Advice needed
Welcome to the forum Emma, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 The 2.0 tfsi engine is prone to excessive oil consumption due to Piston issues. I believe the 1.8 is more reliable. Here's a YouTube video which will help: Cheers Steve

Exhaust
Welcome to the forum Gary, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 My brother and a friend of mine both have had custom powerful exhausts. You can modify both the exhaust note and tailpipe. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Expect to pay £400. Cheers Steve

Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror.
I do not believe the wiring would be there unfortunately. I wouldn't normally put in links to other forums, but this is a retrofit for a b6. https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/retrofit-auto-dimming-rear-view-mirror-ch-lh-picture-heavy.247262/ Needless to say it's not going to be cheap. Cheers Steve

A3 Cabriolet rear lining
Hi Phil, On looking at a previous post on here regarding this issue. Audi technicians advise it has to be glued back into place. Appears to be a common issue. Your local motorfactors will have the correct adhesive. Cheers Steve
