  9. I'm.not really a footy fan either but the wife and I are watching it. What the hell is going on! It was going so well and now it's gone wrong.
  10. Hmm I think you're right, the sport suspension is between se and s line. The easiest thing you could do is fit se suspension to your a3 to make the ride better. Cheers Steve
  11. You're welcome Paul! I just felt you all deserved recongition 🙂
  12. Welcome to the forum Sam, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 unfortunately I'm.not aware of any members breaking one and if it we're me I'd be straight on eBay. cheers Steve
  13. Thanks both 🙂 please note you two get a mention along with Trevor, Edd and Gareth to show appreciation for all your hard work 🙂
  14. Thanks John, as I say I'm sorry you don't get the answers you're looking for and I know it's frustrating as you are clearly in the minority in the fact that you are very experienced auto technician and as such it's harder to find individuals on here with more knowledge than yourself. I wish I had half the knowledge you have, I just help members where I can 🙂
  15. Well usually if the wheels are a different size either by diameter or width etxc then this will affect the tow in and tow out angle of the suspension and steering. You don't have to have it done but I'd recommend it because you could scrub your tyres as they could wear unevenly. It's cheaper to have tracking done and be on the safe side then fork out on new tyres. Plus if it's quattro then it's a must as uneven tyre wear on a quattro can damage the system. Cheers Steve
  16. Welcome to the forum Jade, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 you could always consider having an aux connection fitted. cheers Steve
  17. Welcome to the forum Bal, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 my answer is yes they should bolt straight on but you'll need to get your tracking done afterwards. is there no way you trial fitting one to your car to make sure it fits? cheers Steve
  18. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 could this be due to an oxygen sensor I wonder? cheers Steve
  19. Hi Michael, if you do t mind me asking how as the engine failed? And would.it be worth you considering a second hand engine? Cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Martin, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 when the TT cuts out what is the temperature of the engine? do you get a loss of power or any other sign of it overheating? im wondering if it's an intermittent fault caused by a faulty sensor? cheers Steve
  21. To add to my previous reply, I'd also like to say that you're more than welcome to offer suggestions to the club John. We are always wanting to improve the club and forum so please let me know if you have any recommendations 🙂 cheers Steve
  22. Sorry you feel ignored John but I think Gareth has hit the nail on the head. I do try and help where I can but more often than not im not very good with electrical questions as my electrical knowledge is limited. I think it's partly down to the fact they you have a rarer Audi model and I can feel in the same boat sometimes as the c5 isn't too common on here. The forum is managed by a small group of dedicated volunteers and we do try our hardest to keep the forum Aline and active. I think the problem lies with the fact there are alot of people who sign up, post once with a question then clear off again. Keeping regulars on here is alot harder. I'll definitely try and be more helpful in the future. Also as you're in Leicester I'd be more than happy to meet up and try and get a local type meet going 🙂 Cheers Steve
