  1. Welcome to the forum Dean, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm guessing you've had a look to see if cleaning the area helps?
  2. Welcome to the forum Daniel, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I can't say I've come across this whilst being on the forum but it sounds like the s4 would be in good hands as you're a technician by trade. I'd never try and tell you what to do as you are more experienced than I but I'd say the head needs to come off to see the full extent of the damage. Cheers Steve
  3. Hi Cliff, I think the smallest wheel size for the a3 is 16 inches. I'm guessing you have 17 or 18 inch wheels currently. Here's the link to the thread I did for Audi wheels which might help :) Cheers Steve
  4. Welcome to the forum Gursel, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I have to say you do live in a nice part of the world :) we have a thread calls Audi's from around the world and we'd love to see pics of your a3 in Turkey :) Here's the link: Cheers Steve
  5. Wow Kevin your a4 looks great! Just like you I experience the high bills occasionally but.i wouldn't change my a6 for the world. You've got a great engine, box and quattro plus the colour is rare ;) Cheers Steve
  6. You're welcome, as I say I think it'll be the light switch located on the dash. Please keep us posted on how you get on :) Cheers Steve

!Removed! hell! Let's hope this can be proved wrong. Annoyingly you have to prove it wasn't you.

Well that adds as good proof that your plates were cloned for the dart charge letter! The police should be going off the VIN and I suspect the car in question is either stolen or the owner is trying to play the system.
  9. Hi Kev, I believe it could be the light switch. I know on the a6 c5 some models suffer from switch failure which then only allows the lights to work on certain settings. Cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) The Q7 is a lovely car and I bet you're really pleased with your purchase! :) Cheers Steve
  11. LMAO 😂 fair comment! 😂
  12. Paul you are far too good at this!!
  13. That's the one :) As I say I'd definitely be taking this back to the dealer as you've only owned it a week.
  14. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm assuming you are aware of recalls with regard to this. If you've bought it from a dealer then I'd advise you take it back and get them to check. Cheers Steve
  15. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Id say that Audi should have sorted the syonechop/rust before the sale. I've had a similar issue on one of my other cars (not my a6) and it is being covered under warranty as the paint defect could only have happened at the factory. Please keep us posted on how you get on. Hopefully Audi will sort this for you :) Cheers Steve
  16. Definitely! 3 of our other members have them and love them! :)
  17. Hi Tom your a6 looks great and the Le man's is a great spec :) Cheers Steve
  18. I thought so but thought I'd check :) It sounds like there is a fault and you've done wise to hook it in with an auto electrician. Vag com won't help in this case due to there being a fault. You could also get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
  19. The badges look great Kris! Top work :)
  20. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm assuming you are all wearing your seatbelts? But... If you want to turn off the seat belt binger then I believe you'll need to used vag com or similar to turn it off. Cheers Steve
  21. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) The a8 d3 is a lovely car and I'm jelious :) Having the diagnostic equipment is a good start and worth doing a general scan just to see what fault codes flag up. My other advice would be to get an auto electrician to have a look as I suspect it's something straight forward. Cheers Steve
