Hi Craig, I'll move this topic to the Q3 section as that's probably the best place for it. Unfortunately I won't be able to help though as I don't know much about auto electrics I'm affraid. Cheers Steve

Singapore Audi A7 prices!!
Wow I can see why if they try and discourage you from having an older car!

Fault code U1113-shorted to ground
Welcome to the forum Gary, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Sorry this topic hasn't been responded to yet. If you don't want to take it to Audi then id advise taking your Audi to an independent specialist or auto electrician as it could take a while to find the poor earth. As a guess I'm wondering if a loose component is moving under hard acceleration which is causing the short. Hope that makes sense. Cheers Steve

A6 Avant 2015 2L Quattro
They are lovely cars! But unfortunately out of reach for most of us. I have to say quattro is ideal in this weather! And your doing the wise thing, the more money you have the nicer car you can get :)

replacing front wings A4 Cabrio
It's definitely a common problem of vag cars from this era as vag fitted foam inserts between the wing and wheel arch liner. Obviously the foam absorbs the water and causes the wings to rust. The a3, a4 and a6 were affected. To rectify it properly you'll need new wings however I'd wait until summer. Cheers Steve

Weather
Same here, I won't be making money today either. My wife and I were both heading to two different houses this morning in market harborough and just couldn't get there. We got half way and cars were stuck and skidding. Predominantly BMWs! Good job we went in convoy really. Still looking after my gran today though as the roads aren't as bad. But it's started snowing again to be fair.

rear wiper
On top of this I believe Audi did a recall for water ingress into the boot. Which included changing the rear window, seals and rear lights. But I'm unsure on the exact models affected and can't seem to find too much info about it. Sorry.

2014 A6 Front Bumper Issue
Welcome to the forum Jamie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I suspect your a6 has headlight washers and obviously in the cold weather it's frozen whilst spraying and got stuck open. Not fully sure how to put it back in but I wouldn't push it in case it breaks. It might be worth you pouring warm water on it and the all the other nozzels and then activate the washers to see if that fixes it. Cheers Steve

A6 Avant 2015 2L Quattro
Ah, got ya. I can see where he's coming from but I think in most real life scenarios it won't be too much of an issue. Especially if you're over taking tractors and lorries etc. Have you decided on having quattro then?

rear wiper
Welcome to the forum will, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I believe when water starts to get in to the boot it gets into the wiper motor and eventually breaks it. Think you'll need a new motor to be honest. But it's worth you checking the wiring hasn't corroded which could have caused it to stop working. Cheers Steve

Immobiliser issue
Welcome to the forum Debbie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) My advice would be to get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. I will suspect it may require ban auto electrician to fix the problem. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve

Too much White Smoke from Exhaust Silencer
Welcome to the forum Mat, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) It's off that the car is not flagging up any fault codes as id argue bit isn't normal. Has it been happening more lately in this cold weather? If it is happening in the warm then questions do need to be asked. However to be on the safe side you could always get a compression test carried out. I'd also watch your oil level as the petrol engines have been known to burn oil. Often the repair that is required is new pistons etc! This is a worst case scenario though. Cheers Steve

The all New A6
Maybe I'm just a stick in the mud then as I feel changing a manufacturers badge or grill as a no no as you loose your usp as people know your product either by the badge or the grill. Especially important when you debadge it ;)

A6 Avant 2015 2L Quattro
Sorry I'm about confused, what is as quick in fwd compared to quattro? Needless to say I can't see it making much of a difference when over taking with fwd or quattro unless you're driving in snow or other bad weather of course.

Audis on the big screen
Lol you're correct Paul! :) I think you're finding these too easy! Here's another Audi from a British crime drama. The clue is that one of the detectives drove a green triumph stag. Excuse the poor picture quality, I was struggling to upload this one!

Driving A5 Quattro in the snow
Id never let go of the steering wheel in my opinion regardless of weather conditions. Let go of the accelerator and drive in the highest gear possible is the main advice. My key question would be, what road were you driving on to go 30mph? If there's ice and snow I always venture on the side of caution unless I know the roads clear. Cheers Steve

Gritters, what are they? I can't say I've seen any whilst I've been out in this weather!
